During April to August 2017 an amazing transformation took place, whilst retaining many of the historical features the interior of our church was changed and adapted as it has been over the centuries, to meet the current and future needs of the church and wider community. This means we now have level access throughout, an updated heating system, brand new kitchen, sound system, flexible seating and accessible toilets.

Our service times;

1st Sunday in the month - All Age at 9: 15am.
2nd Sunday in the month - BCP at 8am, Holy Communion with Sunday Club at 9: 15am.
3rd Sunday in the month - Holy Communion with Sunday Club at 9: 15am. Informal, contemporary praise service at 6: 30pm.
4th Sunday in the month - Holy Communion with Sunday Club at 9: 15am.

Everyone is welcome to any our services and events, we have a good sense of humour, as does our Vicar, Neil, and have joy in our faith and our fellowship.

CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE
We have a Sunday Club for school aged children that takes place in the Village Hall at 9: 15am, (the same time as the service) we then walk to Church in time for Communion. We do games, drama, messy play, activities for all abilities and styles with exploring the Christian faith in a fun, relevant way. Whether you have never been before, haven't been for a while, or come every week we can't wait to see you.

Our youth group DYNAMITE for young people of secondary school age, explores the Christian faith and issues affecting young people, through games, discussion and activities to suit all abilities and interests, helped by food, socials and lots of fun. The meet fortnightly on a Monday evening, 5pm until 6: 30pm, in church, with pizza provided.

We run Messy Church and Open the Book in St Oswald's Church of England Academy and hold craft days and our annual pantomime, we have a children's area in church with toy bags and bean bags and children and young people occasionally plan and lead services.

We are asking that you 'book' so we know how many resources we need to prepare, and how many goodies we need to buy. We understand that life happens, and that you may no longer be able to come if you have booked, or that you may not book for whatever reason, it's just to give us an idea, not set in stone. Cafe 3:30 is our monthly cafe style event, that takes place on the 4th Sunday of every month at 3:30pm, lasts up to an hour and is aimed primarily for families but everyone ...is welcome. ----------- Cafe 3:30 launched in February 2018 as we recognise that 9:15am on a Sunday morning and the format of that service isn’t as accessible as it could be for families. Each month has a theme, there will be different activities every time ranging from; games, crafts, messy activities, upbeat contemporary songs played by our Rector on the keyboard, drums or guitar, videos, delicious goodies, something for adults and children to take away and hopefully lots of fun to be had. Church is set out just like a cafe with a range of large and small tables, so you can be as friendly as you wish. With refreshments served for you at the kitchen hatch.

At 9:15am we have a Holy Communion service. As a church we have a great sense of humour and take joy in our faith and fellowship together.
Just a reminder that Lighthouse no longer takes place.

It’s our monthly all age service this morning at 9:15am, for all ages and stages of faith.
Then at 6:30pm we are launching our monthly worship event, it’s aimed primarily at youth but is very much open to all. ✨

Launching THIS SUNDAY.
ALIGHT is aimed particularly at young people but is open to all.
There will be contemporary worship using videos for now but hopefully in the near future we will form a youth band, a message or testimony shared, it'll be chilled, informal with no pressure and we'll see what happens.
