Home-Start Winchester And Districts

We provide friendship, emotional and practical help to parents with at least one child under five.

Home-Start Winchester and Districts is an independent charity working within a twelve mile radius of Winchester. Our volunteers are all parents and are trained, supported and supervised to Home-Start UK standards.

Our aim is to provide early support to families which are experiencing a wide range of difficulties such as isolation, low self-esteem, mental health issues and lack of parenting skills. We work alongside parents in their homes to help raise their self-confidence and their ability to cope in an increasingly pressured society. Our emphasis is on parents helping parents.
