EXCELLENT & AMAZING EXPERIENCE with Professional, Experienced, Competent, Supportive & Friendly Staff.
This was my first time & on a week's Ultimate Detox. The highlights are 5 star accommodation with an Impressive Delivery of:
- Knowledge (talks, films & kitchen demos)
- Skills (included treatments, juices & raw food, Yum !)
- Abilities (daily walking & exercise classes)
I additionally went for the Colonic Hydrotherapy & Classic Myers IV Infusion for the first time (which I would have again). The small numbers of victims (15) for peer learning & support helped.
I am already looking forward to revisiting next year to identify any performance gaps & a more healthier, thinner & happier me :-))
First of all be careful when booking this place is very cleverly marketed making you think it is a whole 5 days or a week but it’s actually 4 days or 6 days resulting in approx. £325 a night, with less than £100 worth of treatments thrown in plus the therapists seem to be on commission and try and sell you everything and anything once you are through the door. They also did me out of treatment time, quite often a 30 min treatment would only last 20 minutes and I even got one that lasted 15!!! Most of the staff seem quite unhappy in their roles there, quite miserable and can't really be bothered with you but you get the feeling they are trying to put a brave face on it. All in all it is a very unprofessional feel, one night they couldn't even tell us what was in the soup we were eating and then the next day they tried to convince me to have Hypnotherapy because he was easy on the eye - no thanks!! The house you stay in is extremely noisy as well, you can hear everything, and there is also an old carriage type train that passes every 30 minutes which is really loud and irritating when you are trying to relax. Overall it's totally overrated by most of the posts you read here, seriously overpriced and I personally came away feeling ripped off and extremely underwhelmed. I even emailed to voice my concerns and I just got an email back saying "sorry it wasn't for you", it's not that it wasn't for me, it's because the place itself and the staff weren't up to the task at hand.
