Here’s a couple of daffs outside reception heralding the start of a new season. 2020 kicks off for us in four weeks on Friday for holiday home owners. See you soon peeps!

We’re out in force today doing the first grass cut of the season. Have you mown your lawn yet this year?

User

New year new us! Stripping out the old carpet and seating in the clubhouse.

Morning all, if you’re coming to the park today there’s a local area power cut going on at the moment and UK Power Networks estimate it won’t be back on until about 4:30 this afternoon. EDIT 6:40pm The power is now back on, so it’s business as usual again.

Yikes that’s a proper frosty one out there this morning. Take care everyone.

We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Annouschka & Grant to our team. They don’t start until early January but you might see one of them lurking behind a caravan as they drop by now and then to get to know us.

User

So this landed in the in-box this morning. We couldn't have done it without all the help from our Lyndsey and Nicola. Thanks ladies - hope to see you next year.😀

It may be a bit wet and windy for caravanning & camping but these kite surfers are enjoying the Whitstable weather today.

We’ve just had our first 2020 model holiday home delivered, this one is Willerby’s Manor. Arriving in the next few days is a Carnaby Ashdale, a Willerby Linwood, and a Swift Burgundy. Which one would you choose?

This month we’ve switched to a new green electricity supplier, Ørsted. This means that the electricity supply to all the camping pitches, the shower block, caravan pitches, the park office and street lights will be 100% green, ie all from renewable sources (that means no oil, coal, gas or nuclear).

Well, after yesterday's inspection and a tense night of waiting, the Tourist Board lady has emailed us with the good news that we've retained our Five Star rating for another year. We hope you approve!

User

Don’t forget that we now have an EV charging point in one of the parking bays behind the park office. Tokens are available in reception.

User

One lucky customer’s just had their shiny new Carnaby Oakdale caravan delivered this afternoon. What’s your favourite model?

User

Hey hey, the weather’s looking promising! So who’s got their bag packed for a Whitstable weekender?

User

Afternoon all. FYI this note arrived today about a road closure in two weeks time. Access to the Thanet Way and Canterbury etc will remain open as usual.

User

Yea, we've now got the pool open for the summer and luckily the weather's been kind to us this weekend like it was at Easter. Our touring & camping field was fully booked and we've just two spaces left for the August bank holiday weekend. Enjoy the sun!

User

Well what a fabulously sunny weekend we’ve had. If you’re back at work this morning this message is specially for you. Have a good one everyone!

Getting ready for Easter? To help those miles flow more smoothly, Highways England are removing 459 miles of roadworks - meaning around 99% of motorways and major A roads will be roadwork free for Easter.
Apparently almost half of all breakdowns are caused by simple mechanical problems which could be avoided by the driver doing simple checks and nearly a quarter are caused by tyre problems so now’s the time to check that your car or motorhome won’t let you down this Easter.
