On Monday 4 March we're hosting an Honesty Box Day at the Bond St restaurant which just opened last year.
So, you order at normal from 11:30–16:30 and instead of paying your bill, you donate whatever you can to three local charities chosen by you.
To let us know who you think we should be supporting, please select that you're interested in this event, and leave us a comment with the names of the charity (or charities!) to submit your nomination.
... We'll be randomly selecting three charities from your nominations on Thursday 14 February.
On the day, each guest will cast a vote for their chosen charity, and all three charities will receive a proportion of the donations based on their share of the total votes.

If you don't know about us, Honest Burgers started here in Brighton in 2010. We don’t for a second think you’ll remember us though. We were working as waiters at Riddle & Finns and made that classic mistake of thinking it’s easy to run a food business. After a few beers in The Bath Arms, we agreed to put in £3,000 each for a tent, a grill and a fryer and served our first burgers at Brighton Food Festival. Easy!
Turns out it was a lot harder than we thought. But we didn’t stop. We met some great people who helped us open a tiny restaurant in Brixton, and then a few more. Eight years later we’re back here opening a restaurant in Brighton. To say we’re chuffed is an understatement.

Crazy how Westcombe Dairy turned this old telephone box into a functioning beech smoker for their cheddar.

by far the best burgers in london if you havent been here you havent had a good burger

Wonderful place with friendly staff and atmosphere. My "Honest Burger" was sooo delicious, probably the best burger I've ever ate.

This was my second time at honest burgers within a week, will be going back again next time in London. Just go and see for yourself. Fantastic.

This restaurant is a fabulous find in London's east end. The location Is ideal as it is very near my office in London. The menu is excellent both for breakfast and lunch/dinner. The atmosphere is also pleasing, music is not too loud. Service is quick and Stuart, General Manage treats his patrons as guests. This is my third visit in a week; that should speak volumes. Thank you!

So, I'm gluten intolerant and it's been a while since I've had a decent gluten free burger.



Yesterday I got the chance to visit the Honest Burger restaurant near Liverpool Street station. I have to say the visit was so worth it. Honest Burger usually has the usual wheat flour buns, but after confirming they can provide a gluten free bun I placed an order for their Honest burger. And it was amazing. The bun was perfect, and the contents was ample and delicious. The burger was perfectly cooked too.



The staff was polite and helpful regarding my queries and I learned the sides are gluten free too. There was no rush to bustle me out after I finished either.



In summary, I'm definitely planning a return visit, and I'd suggest anyone who is gluten intolerant who wants a decent burger find their nearest Honest Burger and give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

OMG WOW just doesn't cover it. Gorgeous food and coeliac friendly. My bloke has had the best burger ever and did not get ill. Definitely recommend.

Great relaxed rustic venue with no pomposity, exquisite original menu (the rosemary salted chips and bacon ketchup are to die for), lovely staff who make you feel like a guest rather then a hindrance and all in lovely conceptual surroundings at extremely reasonable prices. Well done guys, we will be back soon.

First time here.... first bite and god this burgers are so juicy with the caramelised onion.....a must!!!!

Fantastic place. Staff were accommodating and friendly. One thing that was great is whilst waiting, we were able to get drinks at the bar next door, and bring them in when the table was ready, which was helpful. Burger was brilliant as always. They had the limited run Rib Man, which had rib meat, jalapeños and hot sauce, which was gorgeous. You won't be disappointed!

Fantastic food. The burger I had (deli option) was great. Moist, tasty and flavourful. And the staff were really good well. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic evening at the restaurant next to Liverpool Street station. Problems with the gas meant there was a long wait and no chips but the customer service was fantastic and we were kept informed. Free burgers and salad and coleslaw but we bought extra drinks to make up for it. Well done. We will definitely go again.

Best burger � place I’ve ever been to! Totally epic! I’m gluten free and the gluten free onion rings and burger buns are to die for! They taste like a normal burger bun should. Can’t get enough of their amazing food. Cocktails are amazing too!

Always had a great burger wherever I go in the HB chain. Tried the onion rings yesterday, they were really good. Couldn’t fault the service.

We are American & the margarita we ordered was pathetic! It was served in a small camping type mug & I sent it back because it was only half full with too much ice. Our server had it filled up more & the taste was ok but not what it should be. Our burgers & fries were good but nothing special. I would not return here....sadly they need some help.
