Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast here today. Struggled to get through it all! Staff always very friendly. Shame more children didn't turn up for the dragon hunt. Will be back for more, hope locals support the weekend breakfast.

This pub has had a massive turnaround over the past year, it’s gone from an unfriendly, badly run establishment with sub standard food and staff, to a well run, welcoming family pub with a great menu served as it should be, by happy friendly staff. Well done to all the team.

The food was amazing, good atmosphere, nice and clean and most importantly family friendly! My niece and son had a wonderful time. We were a large table (unbooked) but thanks to the staff they were able to fit us in. We will definitely be returning soon and recommending �

I go here most Fridays after work for a frinknwith colleagues and it's always buzzing. Great atmosphere. I also go here on occasions for food with the wife and never had a bad meal. Great local pub �

A very relaxed venue for a group of 16 today. Children were able to get down and play, friendly staff and food arrived quickly. Thank you

New management are excellent. Service is great, beer is great and reasonably priced, food is good value and so much better than it was in the past.

Lovely food and good portions. We have had Sunday lunch there a couple of times and had quite a wait for it to arrive, roughly 45 minutes. But the food makes it worth it. Very polite staff.

Quick service, friendly helpful staff, food good. Only slight negative was the menu, felt there wasn’t enough healthy low calorie choice. Not a fan of the red plastic baskets and the paper lining tore easily I’m sure i ended up eating some of it with my food

And as being a Sunday most people want roasts so if you have sold out that should be the first thing you tell people ! 3 things on menu we wanted all wasn't available so left and took our customer else where. I have been going there for as long as we have lived in Fairford Leys, which is 4 years. On friday I went for lunch with a friend for a catch up. We ordered 2 sandwiches which came with chips and homemade coleslaw. When we received them, the chips were stone cold, homemade coleslaw was a couple of shreds of mayonnaise covered lettuce lost in the bottom of a ramakin and the sandwiches were stale.



We complained to the lady waitress (who was alone working) and we said that it had been either sat on the side or under the hotplate for too long. Her reply was, I can tell you that it was neither as I have been running service and getting all orders straight out to people.



When we received the new ones (45/50 minutes later), the chips were warm and the bread was not stale. However it was still not satisfactory. My chicken was the smallest going with hardly any sauce and my friend had ham and cheese. It didn't seem as if cheese had been put in there.



We were then told that we could have a free drink on them, however that was not accepted as we had refill drinks which had been paid for already. She then offered us a free dessert when we were ready to order.



Once we had eaten some of our lunch, it was as if she was avoiding us and because we could not find her to order our free desserts, we decided not to spend anymore time there. So in the end we walked out without our free dessert each and feeling very disheartened with the overall experience.



Dear Honeybee managers, I have been in here on plenty of occasions with family and friends and this was the worst experience I have had.

I am unsure if the management has changed or just staffing changes and shortages, but I feel that something needs to be done, as you will lose a lot of food customers because of it.

I don’t really want to be negative because the senior staff were great but there were so many inexperienced/new staff it made service very slow and meant that incomplete orders were delivered to our table - the food was OK but I’m not fan of having it delivered in plastic baskets and metal oven trays - desserts were the best thing - you may have to pay experienced staff a little more but it would be so worth it to give good customer service

Rude staff, not allowing people inside over match even though we have spare seats around a friends table.



A mother arrived to pick her children up from the dad and they wouldn’t even let her go inside to get them!



General manager is rude and very unprofessional.



I have come here for each game and had food / drinks consistently for the last few years. Will not be spending another penny here again.



Will be processing a formal complaint with Generous George as I can not believe how rude the lady general manger was.

One meal was burnt and the other meal we had to wait another 10 minuets.



Meant to be a family restaurant , we had 3 people shouting and swearing next to you and to a big family the other side of us .



We will never recommend this to anyone.

I saw a post on here about serving breakfast at the weekends Great , but turns out no so great 😔



I ended up with a poor belly (maybe food poisoning but I never went to doctors so will not say that)



I can only say my insides have told me to never eat the undercooked food here .



I liked to go here but really not sure if I will go again in the future as very upsetting getting ill

Food was very disappointing sadly. Cold, bland and genuinely just thrown together with little skill. Children's party spoiled a family meal out due to noise. Understand a family friendly pub but one party turns it into a play zone environment so wouldn't recommend for a family group but ideal for kids parties.

Everyone avoid the honeybee in aylesbury, there refusing mothers come in when their kids are inside, saying there at full “compacity” when there are clearly seats free, I’ve witnessed 10 people leave but still reused to go inside , absolutely disgusting
