Hoole Community Centre Description
The Community centre has over 20 different activities taking place , ranging from activities such as zumba, art classes, yoga, a variety of dance classes and home to 3 choirs. The community centre isn’t just used for general classes though as it is frequently booked for parties, weddings and meetings.

It's National Volunteer Week so guess what?? We are going to be telling you all about our amazing volunteers. Starting with the lovely Diane. Diane is the Mary Berry of Hobson's Cafe making and baking delicious cakes for our 55 Club. We asked all our volunteers why they volunteer with us and here is Diane's answer... I love volunteering at Hoole Community Centre because when I retired it gave me the opportunity to do something completely different as well as helping our local community 😍
Homemade by our volunteer Liz, fresh out of the oven and smelling great... gluten free and vegan friendly blueberry and lemon cake 😋
On the board this week...
55 Club had a great visit to Chester Town Hall this week to see The Lord Mayor of Chester's regalia up close, with history from Clive, a tour of the Town Hall chambers & finished off with a trip to Chester Market food court for refreshments.
Big thanks to The Mayor, Alex Black, his wife Janet, all the welcoming town hall staff and especially to Clive whose knowledge was fascinating.
This was a poignant occasion for the Lord Mayor of Chester, whose last public engagement this was before his term of office comes to an end. We are very grateful for his time and effort, in arranging this visit for 55 club, thank you Alex.
Thank you to everyone who joined us today. We had lots of fun. Next children's baking session is on Tuesday 30th Jul and we are making CUPCAKES.

Breakfast! The most important meal of the day...apparently. We think ours is the best. Meat from the local butchers (Hoptons Butchers), freshly cooked and great value at £4.50. We also do a veggie version. Head on down, here until 12noon 🍅🍞🍳🥓☕️
I can't say it's the most exciting post we've ever done but sometimes you just need the information 😂. Tomorrow, 9am - 12noon, volunteers gaining great experience, Hoptons Butchers meat and hot coffee. See you there 👍
