It is with sadness that I inform you that Hop & Spice will close its doors for the final time in the next few weeks.
I can't tell you what a fabulous adventure bringing my wonderful mother's home cooked curries to Balham has been. Despite the trials it has been enormous fun.
... We will be yet another casualty of this relentless recession. I could rant on about escalating taxes etc etc, but far more important is to say a HUGE thank you to my brilliant Hop & Spice team. Staff in the kitchen and on the floor have run my little enterprise as if it were their own. You can't ask for more than that, and I will always be grateful to them. I wish them the very very best for the future.
I save my final thank you for you - our fabulous loyal customers. You've been a pleasure to serve. Please make the most of the next few weeks, and you never know what might rise from the embers...
