Hope4Havering is an established charity that addresses homelessness in Havering. The Catalyst Nightshelter began in November 2011 in churches staffed by volunteers.

Over the last 5 years, Hope4Havering (H4H) has grown significantly giving shelter and support to over 800 men and women and moving hundreds of people from the shelter into accommodation. In 2015 H4H was awarded the Housing Justice Quality Mark for Church & Community Night Shelters for Excellent Practice. H4H also benefits the community by running two support houses and a recovery support programme which assists people struggling with substance addiction.

H4H works in partnership with The Metropolitan Police Service, YMCA and the Salvation Army.
