One of my tenants is an ICU Doctor at Airedale and I asked her if there was anything that I could get her as I know she and her colleagues are working long and demanding shifts and so struggling to get to supermarkets etc. The screen shot of messenger was her reply. ( ...see below ) So yesterday I rang a few of my suppliers and today received an email from Moma foods in London asking me where they can deliver 100 porridge pots to, free of charge!! How fab is that. 😁

It is with great sadness that we have taken the decision to close the shop with immediate effect. In the current climate, we feel that in order to keep our staff and customers safe and to adhere to the the advice we are being given by Government, this is the right thing to do. We hope that everyone stays safe and well throughout these difficult times and we will see you all again when its safe to open our doors once more. Thank you for your support. We get a delivery of fresh bread daily so if anyone wants to place an order of white or brown loaves, teacakes or currant teacakes, message me.

We are now delivering five days a week to Shipley, Baildon, Crossflats and Baildon bottom. Call for details.

At the moment we are fully stocked and are having fresh deliveries daily of Bread, pies and pastries. All our meats are oven baked on the premises and our sandwich fillings are all made in house, daily. Our specials are prepared fresh on the day and these include chicken curry, chilli, halloumi wrap, lamb and humous kebab and falafel pitta. We are also managing to keep our popular salad bar well stocked with all the usual homemade sides to accompany your chosen filling. Thank you for your continued support. Keep safe and well. 🗣 I went into a little coffee in the city centre with a friend, we made our request... as we were approaching our table two people arrive and approach the counter: - " five coffees, s Please. Two for us and three suspended." they paid, they took their two coffees and left. I asked my friend: - " what about hanging coffees?" my friend answered me: - " wait and you'll see." a little more people came in. Two girls asked for a coffee each, they paid and left. The following order ...was of seven coffees and it was made by three lawyers - three for them and four " suspended ". while I always wonder that it is the meaning of the hanging coffees " they leave... suddenly, one Man dressed with worn clothes, who looks like a beggar arrives at the counter and asks sincerely: - " do you have a coffee hanging?" and the waiter serves him a coffee.... I had just got my answer on these famous " Hanging Coffees " people pay in advance a coffee that will be served to who can't afford a hot drink... this tradition started in Naples, it spread by everything in the world and in a few places, it is Even possible to order not only "hanging coffees" but also a sandwich or a full meal... make sure to publish this beautiful idea to everyone!... would be great if we could all start doing this in the cities where we live...
