The Horizon Centre is an innovation, education and research facility based at Torbay Hospital.
With 10 rooms available to hire, this is the perfect location for all types of training, meetings, seminars and lectures. For larger events such as conferences, small exhibitions or business networking events, the entire centre can be hired which will enable you to have complete access to all seminar rooms as well as the lecture theatres which will offer ample amounts of space and intimacy for your event.
Our seminar rooms can cater between 10 – 35 people seated
Lecture theatres can cater between 50- 138 seated
Our rooms are equipped with the latest interactive whiteboards, projectors, screens and video /telephone conferencing facilities and free WIFI. Cutting edge technology is to the fore with smart response units, which is ideal for running live quizzes and questionnaires.
Room rentals are available 7 days a week including evenings. All rooms are fully accessible and disabled parking is available on the south side of the building. Parking is available on the hospital site at reasonable rates. Reserved parking is available for visiting speakers and can be pre-booked.
Refreshments and event catering are available through the Horizon Café. Prices for room rental and catering are provided on request.
