Recently refurbished star trac equipped Gym.

Reading the last reviews not ao good so obviously they have changed in there but my mother, Aunt and myself all went for a spa day yesterday. An even though no one on help desk for first 5mins the rest was great. All had a lovely peaceful massage and had our nails done. The swim was great and we were so relaxed. When it was time for afternoon tea it was out within 5 mins. The whole experience was great. All three of us were so relaxed and could of easily slept on the sofa's. We personally would defo go back. Thank you

Had a full body massage. Staff are very helpful and professional. Definitely recommended to other as well. Relaxing throughout the whole period.

Went for a facial with my daughter. Really lovely considerate therapist. Went in the jacuzzi which was hot, very bubbly and so relaxing. Ok had a tile missing on bottom but didn't affect anything. Really lovely experience will go back again

I've just completed a 7 free day trial. The changing rooms are very small and have only two showers so it can get quite busy in there. The gym is also quite small compared to others but has everything you need for a full body workout. The swimming pool is also small but doesn't get very busy and the water is lovely and warm. It's the only pool I've taken my 4 year old daughter to where she hasn't moaned about it being cold and infact didn't want to get out. After a work out in the gym I enjoyed being able to have a little swim followed by a Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Staff and guests are very friendly and you get free hire of towels. I can't wait to take advantage of the 25% discount off of massages and drinks at the bar once I sign up to become a member after the half term which I will definitely be doing. I look forward to going back.

Pool looks dated & tatty and I found one of the staff members to not be very helpful. The afternoon tea was lovely.

pool area looking very dated and tired. mould all over the windows a lot of rust everywhere. pool had way too much chlorine in it. wasn't impressed.

Took my daughter swimming yesterday (16/02/17) and when at the desk the woman who I paid to use the pool gave a very unwelcoming feeling.

I got the impression it was a hassle to use the pool. Very unfriendly attitude towards us on arrival, especially when I stuck my hand out to recieve my change she put it straight on the counter not even looking at me.

Being a member of the place I am considering canceling my membership and looking at else where to go where staff are more friendly to people who pay to use their facilities.

The massage was very good although one could clearly hear the pounding of exercise machines affecting the expected relaxation mood .The days expereance was totally spoilt by staff , poor welcome on arrival at the front desk and in the spa, lunch took so long to arrive it had to be cancelled as treatment slot arrived ( nearly an hour from ordering and still not ready) member of staff suggesting we should be properly dressed ,on two different occasions and clearly though it was funny but only made us feel very uncomfortable (we were wearing robes as usual for a spa) two others in the party returned their lunch as not acceptable , kitchen agreed it was poor . Once treatment completed returned for lunch and the ham was clearly the same as ordered 2 and half hours earlier ( I'm in catering myself )then we were asked to pay for it again . Our party were split up and unable to spend time together due to the mix up and this was a pre Christmas party get together as we come from different areas so very disappointing . When we decided to end the day with a relaxing swim there were swimming lessons going on in the pool and several little boys( not babies) in the changing rooms with no privatcy what so ever . A very dissatisfying experance to say the least .

Paid over £100 for my daughters 21st birthday to use facilities from 10am at 9.30 i get a call from them saying pool is closed until 12.for cleaning... 45 mins later we get in only to be told chlorine is still strong and could effect our skin... could not use Jacuzzi as it was freezing. Very tatty looking. On plus side massage was great and so was afternoon tea... will not go there again....

Not good poor preventive maintenance on equipment poor opening times lack of enthusiasm by staff due to being on demoralising atmosphere typically they last 6 months guys take a look at your business

I mostly use the pool. I have been a member for nearly 4 years and everything has gone down hill so much recently. Hardly a week goes by without there being something not working in the pool area. I am considering stopping my membership. How can it suddenly have become so hard to keep the pool and area in working order.

Had a manicure with opi gel Polish on Tuesday 6th June as was staying in the hotel, I'm now back at home 5 days later and 3 of my gels have come off I'm very disappointed with this.

Have had gels many times before from a salon local to me and normally last 3 wks.

Quality wasn't fantastic to start with and wish I'd saved the £45 and had it done before I went away.
