Location for Rocksavage is very good, more of a Contractors Hotel. Getting run down, dark Corridors and rooms need to be brought up to a better overall Condition. Trying hard to Maintain what they have and its ok for a quick stay.
Lovely place in the style of a Swiss chalet. Conveniently situated a short taxi ride to the historic city of Chester. My friends said that the breakfast was good value at £5 and that they enjoyed watching the local wildlife through the dining room windows as they ate. Staff very friendly
Must be by far the worst Hotel I have stayed in so far. Big and dark carpet stains, marks on the walls of, god knows what and stale air, are just a few of the things that have really made my stay very uncomfortable.
The restaurant, well. I decided to go with the "Traditional" Fish and Chips, how it's called in the menu, and have been served CAPTAIN BIRD'S-EYE "FISH FILETS"
I would not recommend anyone to stay there, until the hotel gets a full renovation, new chef and maybe someone who cares about the hotel business and reputation.
Room is okay but carpet isn't clean all round. I have dust allergies too so even if it wasn't visible i can feel how dusty it is. The food is good for breakfast. But isn't open late by any means which is bad for us as we work long hours on this job. Service is fine, though again not 24 hour. Staircase is a terrible design for a hotel and there is no lift.
Alright for short time.bit run down.overrun with road works workers staying ,car park fall with white vans.
The room was a bit dated but it was very clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay
It was OK. Not the best, but a very good price and the staff in that evening was very helpful.
For the price its what you'd expect ( no frills ) reception area and restaurant is nice and upto date, rooms are dated. And on checkin room smelled of smoke.
