Wow.... Joe and I were married at the woodlands on the 26th August and words cannot describe how wonderful our day was. We booked here as it suited us down to a tee and I can honestly say it exceeded our wishes. The venue. .. the staff.... the weather. .. and Lisa..all amazing. The staff can't do enough for you.... the food was exceptional and everything ran soo smoothly. I can't wait to come back to renew our vows. . Lol. Thank you to Lisa and staff at The Woodlands. Julia and Steph are the most amazing and helpful people you could ever ask for to help you plan an amazing day. We had our wedding reception here on Feb 2015 and we could not have been looked after better. As a bride I didnt have to lift a finger on the day thanks to its wedding co-ordinator Stephanie who even called the driver to hurry him up � I always recommend Hothorpe to couples planning to get married in the Leicestershire area. It was so lovely to be able to get married somewhere so great and near my home town (market harborough) thank you everyone at Hothorpe

We had our wedding here on 13th April 2017. Hothorpe Hall is the most perfect venue, beautiful location, beautiful building with plenty of rooms for guests at very reasonable prices. It was a dream wedding for my Wife and I. Very large venue for exclusivity for the whole day. The staff are incredible, right from wedding coordinators to cleaners everyone was friendly, smiling and professional. They couldn't be more helpful and hard working you definitely want to have your wedding here.

We had our wedding at Hothorpe Hall on 1st July 2017 and I can honestly say it was our dream wedding. We loved Hothorpe Hall the moment we looked around and knew it was the place we wanted to get married. From day one all the staff we came into contact with were friendly, helpful and supportive.

Planning a wedding of any size can be extremely stressful at times but with the help of our wedding planner, Steph, we were put at ease and had no added stress from the venue. Steph was a rock to us from the beginning, during the day and after the wedding. She has bent over backwards to make sure our day was as we had planned it. I cannot praise her enough. Our MC, Matt was fantastic. He helped our magical day run smoothly with many laughs and support. He was loved my us and all our guests.

George from the restaurant team was also great. We had many guests come up to us throughout the day to say how helpful he was.

The venue itself is beautiful and the new terrace outside was fantastic for the evening BBQ reception.

We enjoyed our menu tasting evening a few months before the wedding so that we could pick the food our guests would eat on the day. We added a few suggestions, all of which Hothorpe agreed to and the food was fantastic. The meals came out fast, hot and tasty. We would have thought they were cooking for 2 rather than 100.

The new bridal suite was beautiful and everything you could want after a tiring day.

I really cannot say enough to express how happy we are that we picked Hothorpe Hall for our wedding venue. Thank you so much to all that were involved in our special day.

We got married in the woodlands on the 18.8.16. We were really impressed with how everything came together. The team were really helpful and we wouldn't change a thing about the day. During the wedding breakfast the staff were really helpful as they knew what I couldn't eat and swapped anything that I needed to something else. Many of our guests complimented the venue throughout the day. The only thing I would say is the tree house was amazing, the bed was the best bed I've slept in, but it's just a shame we didn't get to spend longer enjoying it after the wedding. Thank you Steph and all the staff you were amazing. Thanks for helping us and making it the best day ever!! Gemma & Rowan Allard x

It was everything and more we could ask for!

I didn't have any garden games but they provided loads of garden games and bean bags as the sun was beaming. Nothing was ever too much and they went out there way to ensure everything was 5* plus.

Beautiful setting amazing staff not a grumble at all. Accommodation for everyone was 5* food was 5* staff 5* everything was 5*.

Couldn't recommend this place enough. Thankyou for everything

The wife and I (still love saying that!) got married in the woodlands on August 31st 2017 and have to say it was the perfect day. We both work in events so wanted something different to the usual hotel function room/barn conversion, but the woodlands is so much more than that. The wedding rooms were ideal, welcoming, and looked amazing, even though we went for a minimal wedding so didn't have chair covers and decoration etc, the outdoor areas were beautiful and the food was to die for! We had so many positive comments from family and guests about the venue, and the guests that stayed over loved the rooms & snugs. Steph and her staff couldn't have been more helpful, from the initial meetings to the actual day, they made it so easy for us. Lovely people who genuinely want to make your day the best! And if all that wasn't enough, the bridal suite treehouse is out of this world! The perfect place to end the perfect day. Our only regret is we can only give this venue 5 stars and not 10! Honestly we can't recommend this place enough:) Thank you all so much for helping make our perfect day x

Just arrived home after my daughter’s wedding at The Woodlands yesterday. Beautiful venue, everything went very smoothly and the staff were superb. Highly recommended

Incredible! Is the best way to describe this venue and its staff! After our first viewing of the venue I feel in love with the place instantly! So much so we put a deposit down there and then with one of their coordinators Steph! We knew from that moment it was the best decision we made!

We were then appointed with Steph as our wedding organiser who right from the word go was thorough, supportive, friendly and just amazing every step of the way! Any nerves I had went knowing she was helping me plan the best day of my life

Then we were told that matt would b our toast master! Well he was fab! He thought of everything, took care of our grandparents and got the guests going!

On the day itself, everything went perfectly! The food was out of this world, with lots of our guests still now telling us how amazing it was and the service of the staff again faultless!

I want to do my wedding all over again as the day just goes far to quick and if I did I would chose hothorpe over and over again!

If you are looking for a venue for your wedding or special occasion and want a relaxed, friendly atmosphere ! Choose the Woodlands. My son and daughter in law just got married here and I can't fault anything. Friendly and attentive staff, first class food and service, clean and comfortable accommodation, all in a peaceful countryside setting. Thankyou to you all for making it such a special day for the bride and groom and all of the guests too. We were also lucky enough to have sunny weather so could fully enjoy the little woodland walks and sit out in the fresh air.

I'm the singer of an acoustic duo and band and we perform regularly at Hothorpe Hall and the Woodlands. Hothorpe has some of the best staff we've ever come across in playing at thousands of weddings over the years. Steph, Julia and Lisa are outstanding at their jobs. From a supplier's point of view, they make working there very easy. I've witnessed many weddings at the venue and they have all been huge successes due to their care and attention. It will always be one of our favourite venues to play at!

I'm a bridal hair stylist and I came to the hall today to style my bride.

I have recently had major surgery which means I am not allowed to heavy lift.

Steph was absolutely amazing making sure my kit got where it needed to go and I really appreciate it.

Hothorpe was already one of my favourite venues but now it's even more so :)

I cannot put into words how amazing It was holding our wedding at Hothorpe Hall. From the amazing staff to be breath taking venue this is really the most beautiful setting for a wedding. Lisa our wedding planner has been amazing throughout the whole process and was always on hand and so helpful as was Steph who originally showed us around the venue. It was absolute pleasure meeting you both and I cannot thank you enough for all that you have done for us over the last few months. We had the most amazing wedding and Hothorpe was the perfect venue. The wedding rooms were ideal, welcoming, and looked amazing, even though we went for a minimal wedding so didn't have chair covers and decoration etc, the outdoor areas were beautiful and the food was to die for! We had so many positive comments from family and guests about the venue, and the guests that stayed over loved the rooms & snugs. Steph and her staff couldn't have been more helpful, from the initial meetings to the actual day, they made it so easy for us. Lovely people who genuinely want to make your day the best! And if all that wasn't enough, the bridal suite treehouse is out of this world! The perfect place to end the perfect day. Our only regret is we can only give this venue 5 stars and not 10! Honestly we can't recommend this place enough:) Thank you all so much for helping make our perfect day x

Thank you so much to Julia and everyone at the woodlands for making our wedding day so special, from the start Julia was so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic, all the dining staff were so attentive! If your looking for a really relaxed wedding then the woodlands is the place to be! All of our guests were so impressed, it truly was the most perfect day!!

Thank you for making our wedding so perfect (30/04/17). The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was lovely, and everybody we spoke to at Hothorpe was so accommodating and helpful, especially Julia! The new bridal suite is exceptional and the grounds are beautiful - and after a very exciting wedding day I had a lovely peaceful walk around to take in the views the next morning. My only regret is that was over so quickly!

Just arrived home after my daughter’s wedding at The Woodlands yesterday. Beautiful venue, everything went very smoothly and the staff were superb. Highly recommended

Incredible! Is the best way to describe this venue and its staff! After our first viewing of the venue I feel in love with the place instantly! So much so we put a deposit down there and then with one of their coordinators Steph! We knew from that moment it was the best decision we made!

We were then appointed with Steph as our wedding organiser who right from the word go was thorough, supportive, friendly and just amazing every step of the way! Any nerves I had went knowing she was helping me plan the best day of my life

Then we were told that matt would b our toast master! Well he was fab! He thought of everything, took care of our grandparents and got the guests going!

On the day itself, everything went perfectly! The food was out of this world, with lots of our guests still now telling us how amazing it was and the service of the staff again faultless!

I want to do my wedding all over again as the day just goes far to quick and if I did I would chose hothorpe over and over again!

If you are looking for a venue for your wedding or special occasion and want a relaxed, friendly atmosphere ! Choose the Woodlands. My son and daughter in law just got married here and I can't fault anything. Friendly and attentive staff, first class food and service, clean and comfortable accommodation, all in a peaceful countryside setting. Thankyou to you all for making it such a special day for the bride and groom and all of the guests too. We were also lucky enough to have sunny weather so could fully enjoy the little woodland walks and sit out in the fresh air.

I'm the singer of an acoustic duo and band and we perform regularly at Hothorpe Hall and the Woodlands. Hothorpe has some of the best staff we've ever come across in playing at thousands of weddings over the years. Steph, Julia and Lisa are outstanding at their jobs. From a supplier's point of view, they make working there very easy. I've witnessed many weddings at the venue and they have all been huge successes due to their care and attention. It will always be one of our favourite venues to play at!

I'm a bridal hair stylist and I came to the hall today to style my bride.

I have recently had major surgery which means I am not allowed to heavy lift.

Steph was absolutely amazing making sure my kit got where it needed to go and I really appreciate it.

Hothorpe was already one of my favourite venues but now it's even more so :)

I cannot put into words how amazing It was holding our wedding at Hothorpe Hall. From the amazing staff to be breath taking venue this is really the most beautiful setting for a wedding. Lisa our wedding planner has been amazing throughout the whole process and was always on hand and so helpful as was Steph who originally showed us around the venue. It was absolute pleasure meeting you both and I cannot thank you enough for all that you have done for us over the last few months. We had the most amazing wedding and Hothorpe was the perfect venue. Also a BIG shout out the chef, the food was Amazing and was enjoyed by everyone (so many compliments!) you are all such a lovely bunch and it was an abortive pleasure meeting you all. Amazing!!! �The venue and all the staff, especially Julia have been incredible during the time we were planning and the day of our wedding. We loved the 'yes' attitude from Hothorpe and how they wanted to help with our special day in anyway possible. We had a lovely day and the venue looked beautiful.
