Well what can I say fish and chips were outstanding the ribs looked great and the decor upmarket
Don't change a thing and you'll do very well ,think other establishments on the High Road have something to worry about
TOP NOTCH
Well I must say this is now by far the best fish and chip shop in town now!! Extremely busy however handled the service brilliantly, and the food was perfection! Keep it up!
Three times i have eaten here and everytime the food has been perfect and delicious. The portion sizes are also superb.
Sampled the food yesterday Excellent and the best chips i have had for a very long time Keep up the excellent standard and you will be a winner
Really lovely light batter and crispy chunky chips. Everything stays nice and hot. Very busy but worth the wait.
Ordered 40 odd kids meals for a 5 birthday party, lots to choose of different meal options, was delivered on time to the venue and arrived still pipping hot. Great portion sizes, which meant the parents could finish the children's left overs . The food tasted amazing. Perfect for children's parties,no cooking, no mess! And who doesn't love chips! Would recommend to anyone and will defiantly use again for children's parties!! Thank you!!
My hubby loves your Fish & Chips. He says your chips are cooked perfect, nice & crispy. The Fish is beautiful with the most light batter. My hubby has been in 3 times now.
Also the Fish and Chips are still hot, when he gets them home.

Just wanted to say with unknown opening crowds the staff handled the customers perfectly, always smiling. The shop set up and decor is fabulous, loved the slush machine and colouring pencils and books for children. Now the food - fish and chips cooked to perfection. Well done Gary and team keep up the great work and we will be back for sure.
Just picked up a spontaneous dinner on the way home, staff amazing (thanks to the guy who sorted out the cod fillet for my son!), food matched the staff - lovely stuff!
Just been to Howard's fish and grill thought I'd leave the diet for tonight! Definitely the best fish and chip shop around here now, food was fresh and tasty and the staff Provided good service !
First visit this evening and they did not dissapoint! Great food and loved the way the fish was served separately in box and not wrapped in paper. The only negative comment would be that the kids slush puppy drinks did not have a lid meaning they had to be held all the way home in the car as didn't want to spill them. Will definitely go back again.
First trip to Howard's tonight to take advantage of the opening offer of cod and chips for ┬Ż4! Was very busy but ordered quickly and didn't have to wait long for the food (which I was surprised about considering how busy it was). The food was delicious, I had cod and hubby had the ribs. Great value for ┬Ż4 each....even if that is just the opening night offer! Will definitely be going back

Big thumbs up. Fab lunch today, cod, chips and ribs all cooked perfectly, very tasty. Kids enjoyed the colouring books which were a nice touch. A highchair would be a welcome addition to the shop
Best chippy we've been to in forever. Fish, ribs and chips all excellent, good service and sky sports showing the football while you wait! Generally find fish and chips a bit overrated but this is the exception. Will be back. Can't fault it
At last a decent Fish and Chip shop in Benfleet, went yesterday and very impressed. Really tasty, and plenty of it to go around. Like having books and coloring for the kids, whilst waiting for fish to cook, made life easy. Great!!
Amazing!!!!!!!!! Drove all the way back to Leigh on sea (20 mins drive) with fish and chips from Howard's and they were still crisp and fresh when we opened them up..

After searching high and low for a decent chip shop... cane across these guys on Google and I have to say it was the best fish & chips we've had in yonks! Thank you guys..... will be back soon. X
A massive thank you for supplying 63 piping hot and very tasty portions of fish & chip suppers (spot on time) to the Thundersley Primary Schools PTA Camp Out on Saturday!
