Bank holiday weekend AND nice weather - an unusual combination! I have spruced up the garden with some lovely plants to make the perfect ‘space-away-from-the-hustle-and-bustle oasis’.... We are open all weekend from 9am all weekend for unfrilly home cooked lunch, breakfast and cakes! Amazing pies, quiches, salads and much more! Take away available!

Mark is in the process of cooking some of his amazing chicken pies, Moussaka and we have warming stew and chicken casserole on the menu today! Finish off with ‘Apple & Walnut’ ‘Banoffee Toffee’ or ‘Strawberry’ cake - currently cooking away in the oven...promise to have them ready by 10ish...

Marvellous Moussaka, Chicken white wine cream leek and pepper casserole and breakfast of course...finish off with seriously sticky chocolate cake (gluten free) or some Banoffee toffee...January sorted!

We've popped in a couple of times for coffee & cake when we are in Whitstable. Staff are lovely & friendly. We are going to make sure we come for lunch next time as the homemade food looks wonderful.

We ate beautiful home baked chicken and mustard pie with gravy and perfectly cooked vegetables (lovely cabbage) followed by a bannofee cake. We received a very friendly welcome - the lovely lady who served us was polite and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxed and homely.

The best freshly made quiche I've ever eaten. Lovely little place and great that's its no smoking, even outside, and they allow dogs. Great value, and I even took an extra slice of quiche home with me.

Sat upstairs for breakfast on a Saturday all had omelettes four of us great service even better food , live here but need to visit this place more .Our friends loved it , try it you will not be disappointed.....

Fantastic and interesting food; from a hearty breakfast to a full range of lunch options; homemade main meals and the best cakes in town! We love visiting this friendly family run cafe as much as possible.
