🌧️ Traffic Update 🌧️ All ok today apart from lower Swaledale for which there is access but some roads are closed - it shouldn’t affect journeys to and from site.
⚠️ AA TRAVEL ADVICE UPDATE ⚠️
THERE IS SEVERE FLOODING IN LOWER SWALEDALE ESPECIALLY AROUND REETH, GRINTON AND FREMINGTON AND ROADS TOWARDS RICHMOND. IT IS ADVISED TO AVOID THIS AREA.
THE MOOR ROAD FROM LEYBURN TO GRINTON IS CLOED DUE TO A COLLAPSED BRIDGE AND THE ROAD FROM REETH TO RICHMOND IS CLOSED DUE TO SUBSIDENCE.... THERE IS A RISK OF MINOR FLOODING IN SOME AREAS OF WENSLEYDALE AND SWALEDALE, PROCEED WITH CAUTION AND DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GO THROUGH POOLS OF WATER IF YOU ARE NOT FULLY AWARE OF THE DEPTH.
THE A684 TO THE A1 AND TO THE M6 SHOULD BE CLEAR HOWEVER, AGAIN, PROCEED WITH CAUTION THROUGH WATER ON THE ROADS.

An open gardens day in aid of St Oswald’s parish church tower renovation fund raised more than £1,400 in just three hours. Seventeen people opened their gardens to the public, teas were served in church and HPB Lodge Yard had a plant stall to support. #hpbmoments
