Not helpful and honest. They just go round in circles and never solve their mistakes

I've never tried to use the services that are criticised below, so I can't take a position on them. However, for drop-in banking and general service I've found them to be excellent. The staff have always been friendly and helpful, and I've only once had to wait long for assistance. And on this occasion the lady made me a fixed appointment for half an hour later - as that was the general waiting time anyway - and recommended a coffee shop round the corner. I've also never been in with a problem and left with it unresolved. I do think, also, that one has to be careful not to let company policy and servicesy criticisms creep in to a store review.

Impossible to book an appointment via phone, website or carrier pigeon. You just have to go in and hope for the best... great 21st century service. Giving two stars as there is still a chance the pigeon will get there.

As per Harry, below, it's now impossible to speak to anyone at ANY branch !!!! I need to call them about my daughter's account, while she is away in central America ..... IMPOSSIBLE to do. Went thru' the call centre, who refused to give me a number, said they would speak to the branch ....... 12 mins later I hung up as they STILL hadn't got back to me. POOR SERVICE !!

Helpful store, with someone always on hand to jump out and help. Clients encouraged to use machines where possible here.
