Huddersfield And Ripponden Brass Band

Saturday is Contest Day for Huddersfield and Ripponden Brass Band, at the Travellers Rest in Meltham, where the Band must play a Hymn Tune from the Red Hymn Book followed by an own choice Contest March.
So, if you fancy coming to support the Band on Saturday afternoon, it would be great to see you.

Proud to support St Patrick's Day Parade in Leeds this morning. We appear just after 9 minutes into the broadcast.

We are enormously proud of our youngest player, Thomas, and were very pleased to see him awarded the Youngest Player in the 3rd Section.

A creditable 7th place for us in the 3rd section today at the Yorkshire Regional Championships.
Wishing Peggy Tomlinson all the best as she retires as Yorkshire Regional Secretary. Thank you for the hard work and dedication over the years.

The band was pleased with our 5th place at Preston in the Third Section amongst a very strong field. Onwards to the areas.

Last rehearsal today before our performance at the Preston Contest this weekend! Good luck everyone :)

The band’s busy festive season is now almost at an end for this year as we played at the carol service in the beautiful Providence Methodist Church, Golcar.
We wish all our friends and supporters a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
