Come all the way from oldham to use this amazing facility. Daughter loves it, feels very professional from the moment you step in the building and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

After asking how much it would be and what time the slides open we waited until 4 so my children could go on the slides. I was then changed a higher price than what I was told it would be and given no receipt. The charging rooms was filthy and when we finally got in hoping they could have fun on the slides, they shut the slides down because they said they didn't have enough staff. We were told someone had passed out outside the building so the slides might not be reopening. We waited a hour with no slides, it was extremely boring so we got out feeling very disappointed.

Had a fantastic afternoon here. The pool was great for my toddler with shallow water, lots of fountains, a lazy river and a variery of slides suitable for the whole family. The pool seems to be managed well to ensure it never gets crazily busy. The changing rooms had lots of cubicles with baby change in. There's also soft play for only £1 which was the icing on the cake for my little girl!

Had high hopes for this new venue, but the fun pool is small, cold, too much space taken with one slide. The venue itself is imposing. No sauna. Overall disappointed that a purpose built venue is not really fit for purpose.

Went today, the kids really enjoyed it and it was good fun trying to get the fastest time of the day on the water slide!

Well organised, I'd recommend going earlier in the day to avoid it being too busy.

Far too busy, even for school holidays, reminded me of one of those intensive salmon farms. Rude and abrupt lifeguards whilstling and pointing continually for no apparent reason. Had two little ones with us who have never had such controlled 'fun' in their short lives. That was just the splash pool....which could be great if they didn't cram people in and had a word with the overzealous fun police.

Compared to what we have on offer in Halifax this place is so much better and amazing ! Their is so much goinging on and alot of facilities available to use if i lived in Huddersfield I surly would be done here more often. Amazing

Absolutely love the splash zone - great for all the family with lazy river, fountains, fixed water guns, clean, organised + well staffed and great slides for adults + pirate ship with smalled slides for little ones, my 5yr old loves it, as do we! The changing rooms are large and clean as are the toilet and shower facilities - nice and modern.

Amazing swimming for parents and families. I adore the changing rooms! Cubicles big enough for a whole family with things for babies and toddlers. The free swim nappies helped immensely till she stopped needing them. I love the splash park. Lots of different depths and different sizes of slide. Helpful staff. I love going with my daughter and it's helped her love swimming.

I find that the gym to be more than adequate and has all the equiptment to suit my needs and even when busy there always something available to use its also clean and most of the staff are friendly and helpful.. However the swimming pool and swimming facilities are a different matter entirely. I try to swim every other day and have noticed the same poo stain on the wall in one of the cubicles in the male changing room for 6 weeks now. Also it clear that their priority is the kal kids swimming classes which in part is commendable but while they take up three quaters of the pool leaves very little room for the rest of the public and can make swimming unenjoyable when at all possible. And this is the case most nights until 8:30. Then the children are left unsupervised in the changing rooms using the most foul language you could ever wish to hear talking about genitals screaming and shouting and peeping under cubicle doors. I feel its a shame that more thought and consideration wasnt shown in the design and sizing of the swimming facilitys and would be reluctant to take my own childern there.

Been a few times, really good if u go through week when quite, but different story at weekends, please don't take children or babies here, they will get pneumonia, the baby pool is right at side of changing rooms and a gale force wind blows through the large gap from.the unheated changing rooms, last the I went with my grandson I ended up getting bad flu from being so cold, the water temp was very low as well, the temp moniter on the wall was not working so I can't say how cold it was. Go in the summer when it is warmer, it is well run not like Barnsley metradome who think its acceptable to cram as many people in as poss, o.k if ur a pervert or paedo as there is a lot of body contact. Only other negative is that hudds is quite expensive (3 adults and a 2year old cost £23) hopefully this puts people of and won't be so busy in the summer when we come back, also I agree with the posts about the dirtyness of the changing rooms, through the week staff do keep them clean, but different matter at w/e. The cubicle I was in had a lady's towel stuck to the wall, changing rooms where full or I would have gone in another.

I use this gym on a regular basis. Overall I think it's a good gym. The staff are nice and helpful. The facilities are great and yes sometimes it can get really busy, which means people are using the facilities. The gym has people of all shapes and sizes, ages and genders and is used by diverse communities - it's what makes this place great, so if your starting out, I would definitely give this place a shot. There's a lot of negative reviews on here, to that I would say, definitely check out the place for yourself. The more I have used this place the more I have grown to like it.

The way the centre could be improved:-

1. Cleaner showers and changing facilities - there needs to be regular spot checks by staff and showers/changing rooms need to be cleaned pronto.

2. More diversity in staff

If it wasn't for these two points, I would have given 5 stars. But like I say, overall I'm happy with the centre and it has one of the best gyms in the area, in my opinion.

Thanks for reading.
