What is Pancake Day? Pancake Day in the UK is also known as Shrove Tuesday, and is celebrated as Carnival and Mardi Gras elsewhere in the world. It was traditionally a day of fun and feasting before the fasting required during 40 days of Lent.

excellent nursery. staff extreamly freindly and helpful. my son went here he was looked after really well and always enjoyed himself he knew all the staff and learnt so much. he started huggies at 6mths until 3yrs. every room he went into was different and he enjoyed all of them. their was always something different going on. the place was always clean. it always felt like a place children could play. the meals my son had were really good he ate loads with alot of choice. i was always informed on how my son was doing thruout the day on diarys i got told what he had ate when he went the toilet when he slept and what he had done in the day.i was always informed if he was sick or had an accident and it was always recorded. their was always alot of information on illness kids can catch and how to deal with it under nursery policy. if i ever needed help with anything their was always someone their to help. within each room my son had his own peg and an area where letters to parents were which was really helpful. the security on the nursery was at a high standard the doors had a fingerprint device to be let in also no mobile phones could be used thruout the building. you always new your child was safe. their was also cameras in each room so if you wanted to see your child without going into the room you could do.

overall i would highly rate this nursery you wont be dissapointed.

What a fantastic new holiday club this term. My children have not shut up. Thank you Laura and Lucy you deserve a recognition for you hard work.

My son, Harry has been attending Huggies since January and he absolutely loves it. The friendly staff are always waiting to greet with a smile and put parents and children at ease. Although he was already quite a confident little boy, his time at Huggies has nurtured that and Harry is becoming an extremely determined young man. He is always coming home with evidence of the activities they've been doing, I.e. glitter in his hair, paint on his face or mud on his shoes, which I love to see! Harry is a very happy Huggies child and I am a very pleased parent.

My son started nursery in February and he loves going, I feel comfortable leaving him there with staff and he always seems happy when dropping him off and picking him up. Also the online tapestry journal is amazing to be able see photos of him doing activities at nursery and to see feedback from the staff about his progress . Overall a great place and he has certainly developed since going and is thriving. ��

My son has been going to Huggies since April 2015 and he loves it. It's the best decision I made by changing him from a childminder. The staff are always on hand to help , there kind and caring. My daughter started in February 2016 and again can only say she enjoys it. I will be using huggies until both children at school ready. Another year for my boy.

My little girl has been coming to huggies since 11 months . She has come on in leaps and bounds . She loves the nursery and all the staff . . Would recommend to anyone with a child needing nursery . I can relax knowing my child is in safe hands . Well done huggies keep up the good work xxx

My little girl has been attending Huggies since August 2017, at 20 months. She is a shy and anxious child and initially found it very difficult to settle - tears, tantrums, the lot. The staff in the Little Rabbits room were incredibly kind, patient, understanding and professional, allowing us many visits to help acclimate her before her official start. She continued to be anxious but through the wonderful work of her keyworkers - first Sam and then Laura - and the other Little Rabbits room staff, she began to slowly settle. She was due to move up with her age group into Old Bears room at Christmas and I was concerned that we would be starting from square one, but the staff were extremely well prepared and sympathetic towards her with an action plan in place to help her settle. I spoke to the nursery manager regarding the move who was perfectly aware of my daughter's situation and had a thorough knowledge of the plan in place to settle her, which really impressed me as the nursery is quite large and there are a lot of children. As a result, Elodie has settled extremely well in the new room and is finally happy when I leave her for the day with no more tears and tantrums! I cannot speak highly enough of Huggies nursery and their professional, compassionate approach to individual childcare. I would recommend the nursery to any other mums. A well earned 5 stars and very relieved mum!

My granddaughter as been at huggies from the age of two it is a lovely friendly nursery all staff make children and family's welcome everyone is happy full of smiles my granddaughter loves playing with her friends making lovely pictures she also loves bee active everyday is a happy fun filled day she will be four in September and I now she will miss all the staff when she leaves

My daughter Mya goes to Huggies and she absolutely loves it. She's been attending since September last year. Before she started she would not go to anyone except for myself or her dad, it was really difficult for us. But going to the nursery has helped her in many ways. She's developing into a clever, funny, confident little girl and I believe Huggies helps with that massively. We can only afford two days at the moment but if we could afford more days then we would do it. Every time we pull on to the car park she gets so excited and points to the nursery and I love how easily accessible the outdoor area is as she is definitely an outdoor girl! - Jennifer

My 2 children aged 3 and 19 months have been going to huggies for 3 days a week since September. They absolutely love it! They have come on leaps and bounds thanks to the staff, who are brilliant with the children. They do so many different activities, the food is brilliant for them and they get fed there so well. They come home every week with different things what they have made and everyone is so friendly. I can stand having conversations with staff members for ages just about how they are coming on and what's going on at the nursery. I can't fault it for anything, I'm so so happy that I chose this nursery I feel really comfortable leaving my children when I go to work knowing that they are well looked after and cared for and having fun! Just collected my grandson from nursery and as always he is happy and full of chatter about everything he has been doing. Staff in his room especially his key worker are eager to share with you his experiences during the time they have so carefully looked after him.

I love the Tapestry observations which allow me to see how he is developing and experiencing new challenges and it allows me to be reassured that he is really enjoying his time at nursery. I have noticed that he is really making progress in all of the expected areas.

The whole nursery has a happy child centered atmosphere and I would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

I've used huggies nursery for over 9 years and intend to use them for more years to come. They are friendly trustworthy and absolutely brilliant in care and in the development aspect of children's educational neededs. My 6 year old daughter is doing fantastic in school because she was given a head start by going to nursery at a young age same goes for my 5 year old girl and as for my oldest daughter she is also exceeding in every aspect due to the support from the staff at huggies. And now my little boy has also got his journey ongoing at the nursery we are having a few issues with him at the moment however the staff are supporting him in the best way possible to get him on track.
