Open to any experience level from never having held a gun right through to well established shots.

- Keen to meet new people and make new friends beyond your course?

Then Shooting could be the answer…whether you’ve got years of experience, or have never fired a gun before, it doesn’t matter. The club is open to all experience levels, and unlike a number of sports found at the University, Shooting is NOT gender-specific.

We shoot every Wednesday during semester time. We meet at the Sports Centre at 1: 15, and usually arrive back in Hull no later than 6: 00. We can drop people off at the Lawns en route as well!

We want people to come and enjoy themselves when they shoot and we keep costs as low as possible, as we feel this is the most cost-effective way of starting out Shooting.

We compete in a number of competitions each year:
BUCS Nationals
St. Andrews (including the exclusive Welly Ball) Aberystwyth
To name just a few. We even host our own competition, Hull Challenge, which is in the spring.
But we are continually looking to expand our calendar with new competitions and friendly matches against other universities.

We aim to hold a social on a weekly bases on a Wednesday night as a club.
