Hull University Students’ Union Description
Hull University Union (HUU) is one of the leading Students' Unions in the country. We judge our success by our achievement of a Gold award in the Students’ Union Evaluation Initiative (SUEI) and our scores for ‘Good Student Union’ in The Times Higher Education (THE) Student Experience Survey 2011 and the International Student Barometer (ISB) 2010 where we came 6th out of 44.
We strive to provide representation, support and a social environment for the students of the University. We have a team of elected Student Officers who are responsible for the Governance and Representation aspects of our charity. Each officer has specific areas of responsibility. These are Governance, Welfare, Education, Sport and Community. All the positions are elected and open to any full member of the Union.

Officers at Humberside Police are asking for anyone who may have been on Haworth Street on foot, in a car or any type of transport, between 11.30pm and 12.30am on the night of her disappearance (Thursday, 31 January) to contact them.
Detective Superintendent Simon Gawthorpe said: “There are a number of leads we are following up and I want to offer my thanks to everyone who has come forward with information, your help has been invaluable.”
Anyone with information is asked to call 101, log 29 of 1 February 2019.
We know that many of you are worried about Libby Squire and want to know what you can do to help. Humberside Police are posting regular updates about their search and have asked for people in the area to check their porches, sheds and gardens in case Libby has taken shelter. They have also asked if anyone was driving around the area (Beverley Road, Haworth Street, Wellesley Avenue) between 11pm Thursday evening and 3am Friday morning and has dashcam footage to contact them on 101.

Libby was last seen getting into a taxi outside the Welly club in Hull at around 11pm on 31/01/2019. She is 5ft 7 inches tall, with shoulder length brown hair. She was wearing a black long sleeved top, leather jacket and a black denim skirt with lace.
