There are thousands of children who have lost their parents to war, poverty and other dire circumstances. But they don't have to feel alone in the world.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “I and the one who sponsors an orphan will be in Paradise like these two” – and he gestured with his forefinger and middle finger, holding them close together.
We're here for little humans. Are you?

Allah's Messenger (saw) said, "There is none amongst the Muslims who plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person or an animal eats from it, but is regarded as a charitable gift for him."
Give a gift that keeps on giving this Eid ul Adha and plant two olive trees in the name of your loved ones. Not only will they will continue to reap the reward, but they are also a source of income for farmers in Palestine.
As little as £20 will help a farming family for up to 3...5 generations. Donate today: https://humanappeal.org.uk/…/projec…/ livelihoods/olive-trees

Our Prophet (saw) said, “Exchange gifts, as that will lead to increasing your love for one another,” [Al-Bukhari]
For just £15, you can make Eid extra special for children living in poverty around the world. With 1 in 3 people going to bed hungry around the world, your gift could mean everything to a family on Eid morning. Do something wonderful today and share the joy of Eid with a little one who may never have received an Eid gift before.

Alhamdulillah, Eid ul Adha is almost upon us and many of us are busy preparing for the festivities. Unfortunately, not everyone will spend Eid at home with their families.
Undergoing treatment in hospital isn't anyone's idea of fun and particularly not a child's during Eid. With a view to make their Eid just that little bit more special, patients at Glasgow’s Royal Hospital for Children got a pleasant surprise this week when gifts were handed out across the ward by Human App...eal.
Following weeks of collecting gifts from local businesses, children received cuddly toys, colouring books, sensory toys, lego, building blocks, board games, bubbles and playdough, so children who are going through a difficult time could share the joy of Eid.
Nurse Amna Mahmud, a volunteer who led the project, said: "Thanks to everyone's contribution to the event! I can tell you first hand that the kids and their parents really appreciated it. You helped make them happy which is the best thing you can see on a child's face who is going through treatment."
Thank you for bringing joy to a child in need this Eid!

"Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example for whoever has hope in Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah often."[Qur’an 33:21]
There is much to be learned from the life of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) and studying him increases our love for him.
As we approach the end of Dhul Hijjah, increase your knowledge and make the intention to continue your study into the new Islamic year.

Our Prophet said: “There are no days that are greater before Allah or in which good deeds are more beloved to Him, than these ten days, so recite a great deal of takbeer, tahmeed , tahleel and tasbeeh during them.” [Ahmad]
• Takbeer: Allaahuakbar (God is the greatest) • Tahmeed: Al-hamduLillah (All praises be to God) • Tahleel: Laailaha ill-Allah (There is no god but Allah)... • Tasbeeh: Subhaan-Allah (Glory be to God)

So, for the above reasons Sudanese people especially youth have chosen the way of civil disobedience as a method of change and to force the government to do as what people want or resign. And here we are appealing for the support of the international community as well as international media so as our voice could be listened to world wide.

I went to the London finale comedy show yesterday and it was a great night. My mum and I really enjoyed ourselves, and all for a very worthy cause.

User

I heard about human appeal from some friends and was invited to come along to the comedy show in Glasgow last week which I really enjoyed.. It is amazing what this charity do for the less fortunate people across the Middle East and less fortunate parts of the world. Truly inspiring and really makes you put things in to perspective. Alhamdolilah for everything

I can't even type without crying. So many innocent lives lost leaving many families, children, elderly in ruin with nothing, not even having anyone to care for them. This is heartbreaking. So many are unaware of the devastation in the world and than their are those who simply don't care. Daily people take their cushy lives for granted without a second thought of others. Shame on them...

I went to the Slough Comedy Show yesterday and found the Comedians themselves very funny in thier own individual ways, and very diverse in their ages, nationalities and experiences which was brilliant. And better still they were able to not just “pick on” non-Muslim and non-desi themes but in the main laugh at themselves and their religion and cultures. It is a pity that the event is not more accessible to non-Muslims – comedy is a wonderful way for non- Muslims to see that Muslims can laugh at themselves and appreciate the challenges of Muslims in current climes through humour. This event would have provided that to no end. However I do feel that the use of Islamic overtones to raise the funds would not facilitate this as it concentrated on the virtues of giving charity by Muslims as being rather a special feat altogether as opposed to non-Muslims giving to charity. Charity is universal and in current climes we need to find common virtues and not see ourselves, like any other religion, as being above others and in that context I feel the religiosity of the event was patronising and unnecessary. Otherwise I really enjoyed the session by each and every comedian on the night and will now be following them to see their other work. Well done to Human Appeal for arranging this for the third year in a row and raising awareness and funds for very important worldly causes. I am looking forward to coming again next year and hope that by then this show reaches beyond a Muslim audience.

Poor communication, bad service and I never known if my donation reached on time to right people.

User

My sole experience with them has been extremely poor. Attended the comedy show in Glasgow to see Jeremy McLellan who has recently become a celebrity in Pakistan and being a Pakistani myself, I enjoy his humour filled with knowledge and interest in Pakistani society. None of the event information mentioned that it was a religious/Muslim-only event, but that's what it turned out to be. Also, there was no indication in any of the communication that there will be an hour-long fundraising session, which was more of a religious sermon, outrightly alienating any non-Muslim audience. Even my Muslim friend who was with me that night felt uncomfortable (she used the word 'traumatised'). We'd bought tickets online and it is clearly highlighted on the website that "all ticket purchases are donations towards our Winter Appeal and do not cover the cost of the tour." But on one of their recent Facebook post, they said that that wasn't the case (snapshots in comments). I can't help but feel cheated.
