We've just got home today after spending an amazing two nights in one of your yurts. Absolutely idyllic and completely relaxing. We even asked to stay another night, but you were fully booked and I'm not surprised.

Loved it, we'll definitely be back.

User

We stayed in the lovely bell tent a few weeks ago and had a fab weekend, this is our second visit to Humble Bee Farm and we loved it this time just as much as the first time, it’s clean and peaceful, has lovely little walks around and the kids loved the park and animals on the farm, it’s a lovely place to stay and is about 15 mins from Filey/Scarborough so a great base if you are wanting to head to the coast.

We’ll definitely be back again and would recommend to anyone I know, thanks Lisa x

We stayed at swallows nest cottage and it was amazing! We had such a wonderful time and was sorry to have to leave! The staff were friendly and welcoming and the little extra touches in the cottage really made a huge difference, making it a very special holiday for us. The hot tub and log burner were amazing, we used these so much. The site has everything we needed and more. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to come back again!

User

We really enjoyed our 2 nights away. No mobile signal no TVs etc just a firepit bbq and family time. Lots to do nearby we went to the sea life centre and alpha swimming pool in Scarborough as well as the Scarborough seafront but Whitby is not far and plenty of other places as long as you have a car. The site is very well kept and our 7 year old enjoyed meeting the farm yard animals and getting an egg from the chickens for breakfast

User

We have just returned from staying at Swallows Nest Cottage. We absolutely loved everything about the cottage and farm. The cottage was spotless and practical with everything catered for. It was also a little bit of luxury with a welcome hamper, hot tub and bbq. The owners and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We loved going to get eggs from the chickens in the morning and seeing all the animals out in the fields. The seaside is only a 15 minute drive so the holiday was varied and fun. We will be back to stay again and have already started looking!

User

We camped this weekend as a family of 2 adults, a 2 and a 4 yr old, and we all loved it.

The site inc the facilities is very clean, all of the staff (and their dogs) were really friendly and made us feel welcome.

There were plenty of drinking water taps near the tents, and it’s a couple of minutes to the nearest toilets, and the park is also there.

The children loved going to see the hens, sheep and pigs, and were thrilled to find an egg for their breakfast.

The location is good, in the middle of Scarborough, Bridlington, and Dalby forest.

The firepit we hired (inc wood) for £10/night was brilliant, I can’t imagine camping now without a real fire to keep us warm as the sun sets.

We can’t wait to go back

User

This place is amazing. We stayed in a big chief wigwam; family of two adults and one fidgety toddler. Loads of room, and very clean. Facilities were clean and nice little touches in the wigwam. A fire bowl is a must!

Loved seeing the piglets and Alfie and Winston the dogs.

Enjoyed it so much that we booked to go back again before we had even left! See you again soon!

User

Spent 3 nights in a wigwam this week for the first time and i loved the place. Dont think i could fault anything at all. Everything was clean and well equipped. It was great seeing the animals when we liked and a peaceful place to be. I would love to stay in a deluxe running water wig wam but they seem soooo expensive i cant pay that.

User

Our first holiday in almost 3 years and it was perfect.

Great location for days out to Filey, Scarborough and even York. But we also loved spending the day on the farm, watching the animals or taking a walk round the farm. Our girls, Caitlin (4yrs) and Evie (19 mths) absolutely loved the piglets and looking for eggs every day!

We booked the Merrydale Cottage and the hot tub was perfect to relax in at the end of each day.

Highly recommend this cottage and Humble Bee Farm

User

Loved loved loved this place, just got back and organising our next visit. The family are so friendly, the yurt and facilities are super clean. Our 5 year old daughter absolutely loved the animals. Thank you humble bee farm for giving us the best memories

User

Just returned from a weekend in one of the deluxe wigwams. Was perfect for us with our three young children. Had everything we need inside and outside (hot tub amazing) We loved collecting eggs and lamb watching (even though we missed them being born everyday)...The farmer and staff are so friendly. Also had use of the beach hut which was great. Great place to go x

User

Just returned from a perfect family camping holiday at Humble Bee Farm. The campsite is small and welcoming and has everything you need and more for a young family. We took our own tent and had a lovely flat pitch near the bottom but close enough to facilities. The children loved it as they had some freedom due to its small size. They could collect a chicken egg in the morning, climb trees and ride their bikes around. They didn't even need to play in the playground! A special bonus for us was the Pizza oven which was available for orders on Wednesday night. Delicious! We will be back one day soon. A quick tip- if you have small children don't bother with the overpriced Flamingo land. It cost us £120 for a day out and the kids didn't go on any of the big rides. Better value to stick to the beautiful beaches at Filey etc. We couldn't find out about Flamingo land before arriving as there was no phone signal and no leaflets at the campsite so we took a chance and went without knowing what it was like.

User

Just returned from a 2 night stay in a deluxe wigwam... what a treat! Such a cosy little place to stay, even when the "beast from the east" is battering the good old Yorkshire coast. The hot tub was a delight, well worth paying the little bit extra to have it lit for you! Friendly, helpful staff, we can't wait to come back in the summer and hopefully make use of the bbq and fire pits you can hire!

User

Just left! And on the drive home, stayed as a couple with our sausage dog Frankie, came for our birthdays and we have all had such a lovely time! We stayed in the Curlew deluxe wigwam & had everything we needed. Clean, with all the necessities for luxury camping, amazing power shower, fantastic hottub, firepit, and dog friendly beaches within 20 minutes drive. Would definately recommend! Wonderful place!

User

I can’t praise this place enough - gorgeous surroundings, brilliant facilities and our yurt was just spectacular. Even a day of rain can’t dampen the spirit when you can snug up round the stove burner. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Our little girl loved collecting eggs for breakfast and seeing the cows and pigs. Especially the new baby cows!

Remember this is camping - the fun is all in keeping warm in your tent and cooking outdoors. The wood for the stove and the fire pit is quality local wood - it’s well worth the price!

In short we will be back and soon. Highly recommended to anyone and as an added bonus no phone signal so it’s blissfully peaceful and location is great for exploring this part of Yorkshire.

Thanks for a great break Humble Bee

User

Humble bee farm cottage is superb and has everything you need for a get away from it all break. The lambs and calves being born were amazing and the owners really take care of everything and nothing is too much trouble. Plenty of logs for the log burner, and near a few villages with great places to eat. AVOID foxhound inn - it’s cheap but we waited 70 minutes for sub standard food. Copper horse is superb.

Weather was awful but even John and julia can’t wave a magic weather wand! We would all definitely return here and recommend to all - thank you very much!

User

Came here for a weekend and cannot praise it enough, gorgeous small welcoming site. Stayed in a standard bell tent and it was a great experience for the kids. Only wish we had upgraded to the ones with the stove as it was quite cold on a night. Made plenty use of the outdoor kitchen area and bbq and also ate from the burrito van which was really nice. Lots of lovely little personal touches in the tents and around the site. Would definitely recommend and come again!

User

Brilliant few nights away staying in a wigwam hut. Perfect for us , microwave kettle and toaster made our stay really easy with young children. Stayed across from the play park which was great, the children loved seeing the animals too even though we wasn’t lucky enough to find an egg! Fantastic facilities, warm water for washing up, extra fridge storage , showers even fresh flowers in the toilets! Thanks for a great break

6th time in visiting and not sure why I've never put a review on! My 6 year old and I have been coming since she was 3. Weve stayed on New Years Eve, done the Lambing weekend and stayed in the midst of the summer august holidays and have thoroughly enjoyed each visit. Its very family friendly and they have a small kids area with a few swings and a slide, a few nice walks from the site and loads of farm animals. Weve stayed in the big chief wigwam which is fantastic and the deluxe running water wigwam with hot tub which was amazing. We have only ever had 1 issue that was mentioned at the office and it was sorted out straight away to say it was new years eve they couldnt have done anything more than what they did. The staff are lovely and friendly and the management are more than approachable and will sort out any issues should you have any. I have never encountered any problems re noise from children or adults. The shower/toilet areas are always clean and regularly checked. The washing up/fridge area is the same. Wifi is £3 per device but come on youre camping! If you're thinking of booking then you wont regret it. We will be back again! x
