Our new Hendon branch is all about... 💥💥

We only had an hour to have our meal. The 1st surprise was that we were able to get a table the 2nd was the quality of the food and service we received from the attentive staff. Our experience was enhanced by the decor and atmosphere in the restaurant. We shall definitely be going back. Must remember to book though!

The smoked brisket and short ribs are perfection!

The best kosher burgers around! Very good friendly service by our waitress! Highly recommend!

That feeling when Hummus Bar cooks your steak to utter perfection...��

Staff so friendly, manager really knows hat is going on and very personable. Cannot fault it and the food is delicious.

Sometimes it's good to not judge on 1st encounters.



I posted here a couple of weeks ago having not had a great evening at the Hendon branch. To his massive credit and most unusually in the kosher restaurant industry the 'boss' Avi Cohen contacted me on Facebook messenger.... not to complain about negative feedback but to ask me what went wrong.



I was incredibly impressed by this and gave him some honest feedback.



He invited us to try again and see if he could make things right.



What can I say? We went to the GG branch this evening and I really enjoyed it.



I started with Chicken Kickers which were tasty and had a little bit of a spicy feel. I followed with Chicken livers and chicken on rice. A nice size portion and again nicely spiced.



I enjoyed the feel of the place and the waitress was as good as I've had in a kosher restaurant, polite attentive and helpful.



In short we had a lovely evening and I will definitely eat there again.

Kol HaKovod to Avi for great customer service. I am won over.

One of the best burgers I have ever eaten — really recommend to anyone who is a foodie. Oh and portions are reaalllyy good!

If I could eat breakfast, lunch and dinner every day there I would. Food is exceptional and unbeaten service. Tried almost everything in the menu and there is nothing I can vote less then an 8 out 10. Keep up the good work guys

I would emphatically recommend Hummus Bar to anyone looking for their next night out on the town! I was sat at the bar and the friendly staff were so attentive and helpful with helping me make up my mind. I decided to try a few smaller dishes since I hadn't ever been to an Israeli restaurant before.



I had the hummus with falafel, coated cauliflower, Israeli salad, and, to finish it off, an ice cream sandwich covered in chocolate and tahini. Every single bite was thoroughly enjoyable. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

I went there today. I had a Chicken Livers dish and it was just divine! If you want to tip the staff though, you'll need to do so with cash, and the service charge on the bill doesn't go to the waiting staff. Our server was lovely, and we cash tipped her more than we would normally have done.

I do not keep kosher so have no reason to go to a kosher restaurant unless it is outstanding in its preparation of food and service. This place has it all, great food , wonderful staff, and a fantastic fun vibe. Well priced , and freshly made food... outstanding!!!would give it 10 🌟If I could

The smoked meat is amazing! Highly recommended!

First visit yesterday and had a lovely experience. Staff were very attentive and had a lovely manner. Often hard to find this when dining in and around London! Food was really tasty. Enjoyed a glass of house Chardonnay and this was also very nice. Will definitely be back.

Excellent customer service amazing food highly recommend the Golders Green branch

Came here on a visit from Israel to eat with my family. Had the ḥumus with salt beef for the hors d’œvre and the brisket for the main course. Food was excellent and the quantities huge!

Amazing ! I go there quite often with my wife amazing place , great quality food and friendly service

After being told again and again how good the food is, I travelled up from Portsmouth to taste a superb Double Decker ( without the pickled cabbage). It was delicious and the chips were lovely too. All they need is my DJing (The Hit Squad DJs) in there to make the perfect venue and food 😎.

Very good food, pity we had to go to the Hendon branch that was just established.



The model at the Hendon branch is different where you order and pay at the till and food is served to you after. This weakens the experience, and the GG restaurant is better for this reason. However the experience is further harmed in Hendon by the female cashier who is RUDE to customers after they ask reasonable questions. Kosher restaurants need to understand that we are not doing them a favour by providing our custom.
