Great place for a day out. But you can get round pretty quick. But you can keep going round so you can catch all the feeds at different times.

A lovely place to spend time with our young family. The six year old had a great time going around and hunting for the clues to the quiz - he'd actually been previously with school so was giving us snippets of information as we went around! The one year old was mesmerised by the tanks and colourful fish. The play area was also a big hit - there's a load of sand, every kids dream! The staff were super friendly, very knowledgeable and went out of their way to make the experience amazing for the kids (one member of staff even ran after us and presented our boy with a badge because he didn't fancy touching the starfish but they didn't want him to miss out!) The only negatives I can give are the price, although you quickly see how expensive it must be to run such a place, and the size, it's really not very big which is a shame. The facilities are top notch however and the cafe very welcome on a cold October day! We will be back!

Sea life centre was a lovely place to visit our 3 year old Grandson was thrilled seeing all the different fish up close through the glass.
And the Penguins, Seal's and Otter's enjoying themselves in a perfect environment ! Well worth a visit.

Wonderful place and brilliant helpful staff, also on the actual beach front and what a beautiful beach! The animals all seem very well taken care of and the staff knowledgeable when asked about them. It has a cool pirate ship playground good for kids around 5+. We ate on the sea front which was reasonably priced and delicious. Would definitely go again, we did have vouchers, but you can get the same discount if you book online which is worth doing as it can work out quite pricey for entrance.

Fantastic for kids, very educational. The gift shop was very crowded but to be expected in the middle of the summer holidays. My kids also loved playing on the pirate ship outside. Fascinating sea creatures.

This is an awesome place to take the children. It makes education fun which is a great way for the children to learn. There is also a gift store and a café offering a good range of food at a price one would expect to pay in an establishment of this kind. Touching pool is always a favorite for young and old . Also has a small play area to keep the kids entertained .

love they have different viewing styles like the tunnels so you can feel inside the tanks. great they have a play area outside other wise it'd be highly priced as you could be in and out in 30 minutes depending on a child's level of interest. fact you can go back in once hand stamped is good.

Had a lovely day here. Very clean and tidy with loads of information screens and posters. Loved seeing the baby seals that had been rescued and reading how they teach them to catch fish and look after themselves before being released back into the sea.

This is a great Sea Life on par with the one in London. It a well design sea life and flow very well. There is a nice range of fish on display as well as rain forest area(small) but got some nice displays.

It a Sea Life to expect to being lots of fish behind glass as fish are very delicate. There are some were you can interact with fish, like touch a star fish.

If you go around slow probably take you about 2 hours, but this is the cool thing about Sea Life is that you buy a day tickets so you can come and go as you please. So you can come back when it feeding time, which is nice. Mean you are not stuck at their cafe, but saying the the cafe is very nicely price comparison to the sea front itself.

Very interesting especially for the kids. You need to go round twice to get your money's worth. A bit pricey.

Fantastic array of species, with a few I had not seen previously in aquariums in the U.K. The baby seal rehabilitation centre was delightful, and it was so nice to see such efforts towards rehabilitating and re - releasing UK wildlife by a public aquarium.
I thought the 'Tank Buster' section of the aquarium was fantastic for raising awareness of species which, really, should not be kept or so easily available in the aquatic hobby as most people do not have the space they really deserve - i have seen too many of the species they had there being put up for sale in adverts as 'they have outgrown my tank'.
Would have been nice if the staff where more knowledgeable, there were a few questions of mine which could not be answered. Also when pointing out two of their Malawi cichlids were spawning, I was met with confusion as they did not know what a 'Malawi cichlid was'. The only criticism I have of the tanks/habitats I saw, was the Malawi tank by the entrance. There was a wave system put in place, which i felt stressed the cichlids as the big wave every few minutes came crashing on top of them. They are not an ocean species, but come from Lake Malawi in Africa, it would have been nice if they were portrayed as such, not an oceanic fish in a rock pool. the tank was too overcrowded and it could have been a lot more natural for them.

Friendly, knowledgeable workers. Better since refurbishment. Good range of sea life considering it's a relatively small space. Especially good for children

A lovely aquarium / sea animal sanctuary. The aquarium area isn't huge, but lots to see and certainly big enough for the concentration of small kids. Great variety in fishes and other sea animals, with very fun paths and peek holes. We even got to touch a sea star. The sanctuary part is nice too with seals, otters and penguins, which are often fed for a little show. It very super quiet when we visited in the winter, but I can image the summer being busy. Nice gift shop (pricy as you can image) and coffee bar. Recommended!
