Many of you know Neville and Val Khambatta through their involvement with the Hunter Fleet.. Neville is Vice Chairman of the Norfolk Heritage Fleet Trust, helping to keep our beautiful ladies in operation. Neville and Val play a hugely active part in sailing here on the Broads and we're sure that many of you, like us, would like to extend congratulations to them both on receiving this outstanding RYA Volunteer award ⛵⛵👏🥂🎉

Hello December!
A little video we made towards the end of the season on Lucent to show you the basic operation of the electric engine. It’s been described as ‘a thing of wonder’ by one of our hirers ☺️☺️⛵️
I went up in the loft to share the beautiful sunset with you all, and found our young Curtis has been very busy too!
Maybe a bit beyond “should we put a reef in?” today 😱⛵️💨💨🤪
Remember to bring your dogs sailing with you. We welcome well behaved furry four legged friends here at Hunter’s Yard, and even have a few doggy buoyancy jackets available too ☺️⛵️🐶
We had a great weekend at the Friends AGM and the Open Day on Sunday! Sailing out from the lovely setting that is Hunters yard on their beautiful boats is always a huge pleasure. How many of you know that you Hunters Yard are offering Airbnb now? Brilliant!
The most exhilarating experience I have had in a long time. Joy our skipper has the patience of a saint and the volunteers were amazing & lovely people as well. Can't wait to come back.
Old school go green holiday stylé. Awnings & tucked away coziness out of season quiet times away from the floating zoos. Get yourself gone. It has been way to long since I sailed one of these on an edge. Beautiful boats well maintained by an excellent team.
My husband Maurice enjoyed a really splendid skippered sail on Hustler 5 with Steve Mackay. Highly nostalgic because Hustler 5 is the first river cruiser Maurice ever sailed - in 1945!
Lovely historic 1/2 deckers, beautifully
maintained. A joy to sail. Cant stop coming back!
It's over 50 years ago that I first sailed a Hunters Yard boat, when the school I attended, Cheadle Hulme School, hired 12 sailing boats (not all from this yard) on the 1st week of September every year. Organised by the sort of inspirational teachers that they make films abour, Alan Finch. This gave over 50 kids a week's adventurous experience that would stay with them for the rest of their lives, and sometimes a rewarding hobby too. Hunters Yard continue to operate a fleet of beautiful heritage boats not only giving people the opportinity to take wonderful holidays but also maintain the iconic views of sails that are essential to continuue the attraction of this wonderful area. Subscription to the friends costs less than a round of drinks at a pub, as do their marvelous friendly picnic days where you get the chance to sail with an experienced skipper. You also get professional naturlist to give a guided tour of Horsefen nature reserve. And - you will also meet a friendlly interesting group of supporters. Its marvelous. Its magic.
Is there a finer looking Broadland yacht than those from this yard? Not in my view.
It is wonderful that these beautiful boats are still working.
An absolutely wonderful holiday sailing a beautiful and historic craft. I hope to return soon!
