Hurley Riverside Park

About Hurley Riverside Park

Set in the heart of the home counties, our family-run Park sits on the south bank of the River Thames, surrounded by farmland in the picturesque village of Hurley.

Hurley Riverside Park Description

Situated in an area of outstanding beauty, our pet-friendly Park is located between the riverside towns of Henley-on-Thames and Marlow and is an ideal location for families to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Thames Valley and Ashley Hill Forest or visit the wide variety of attractions that the South East has to offer.

Our Touring and Camping Park welcomes caravans, motorhomes, RVs and tents. We also have a Holiday Park where guests own their own Caravan Holiday Home, set it it's own private garden.

We have large open spaces for recreation including over a kilometre of Riverside Picnic Grounds, which are directly accessible from the Park. Our Nature Trail is very popular with our younger guests as is our Children's Trim Trail. There are a number of pleasant local walks, including the Thames Path to Marlow or Henley-on-Thames.

Guests have been welcomed to our Park for over forty years by three generations of the same family. We offer a happy family-friendly atmosphere and so only accept bookings from families and couples. We are proud that many of our guests return year after year and recommend us to family and friends. In fact some of our guests who visited us as children now bring their own grandchildren!

Wow. What a gorgeous location. Our caravan club held a rally here and we liked it so much we stayed on for 3 more days. Although a large site the site is split by rows of hedges which give the impression of seclusion. A little expensive in high season but taking location into account I suppose it's ok.

User

What a great park. Fab facilities, great play areas, gorgeous river walks and so many attractions on your doorstep!

Huge pitches that were clean, spacious and dry all with electric hook up.

We will definitely visit again!

Many thanks

User

We used this site as a stop off (albeit a 4 night stop off) up North from our holiday in Dorset. What a great site. Peaceful, right on the Thames, great facilities and staff. All you could want from a site. We will be back as so much to do around the area.

User

We stopped at Hurley Riverside Park and loved it, facilities were lovely always spotless clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful, but what we really loved was the location we were just yards from the banks of the river Thames and the walk along the toe path in the mornings with the dog was superb can't wait for 2018 because we will definitely be going back.

User

We have just spent 7 nights here for the first time and we loved it

Asked for a pitch near to the play park and toilet/shower block and that's what we got

Kids loved it made many friends and had so much fun

Will 100% be back again

User

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at Hurley Riverside park. This was our 1st ever camping trip with 4 young boys and we all loved it. The site is fantastic and the facilities are excellent, the staff are so helpful and friendly. A special mention to Christine who went above and beyond to call of duty to help us out. Even thunder storms couldn't dampen their good spirits. We will be back next year for sure.

User

We have had another fantastic weekend at Hurley, it’s our second visit. We brought 3 other couples with us and they all loved it, we will all be back again as individuals or in the group. We especially love spending the day on the river bank with inflatable boats and swimming. A short walk to the village shop which stocks most of your essentials an the local pubs are good aswell

User

This park is the best if you want peace and quiet with lovely walks along the river

User

Superb site. Returned for 2nd year running. Brilliant for kids and well maintained! Looking forward to next year already

User

Stayed last weekend fantastic! One of my fave campsites!

User

Stayed for 4 nights as a base for visiting legoland and London. Great location. Lovely staff . Very safe . Clean bathrooms . Lots of space and lots of piece and quiet. Brilliant .

User

My third time back ! Such a lovely setting with some fabulous walks to be had by the river.

Staff are all very pleasant and helpful and chatty :)

If you love bird watching you'll be busy counting the dozens and dozens of red kites while swoop down and soar on the thermals.

User

Much enjoyed stay at this campsite with great facilities. Plenty of space, kids playground and playing field, hot showers, electric hook up, deal for legoland entry, easy access to Thames riverside walk. Friendly staff, alway happy to accommodate you. We will be returning in the future.

User

Lovely weekend break last weekend. The peace and darkness at night was amazing. Warm and clean wash blocks with free hot showers. Flat pitch and no troubles with the electric hookup. The best thing for us...hearing the tawny owls at night, and seeing the red kites over the site in the day. Would definitely recommend.

User

Lovely clean site. Caters for all. Friendly and popular site. Would definitely recommend

User

Just spent a couple of nights at this campsite. Booking process was easy; welcome - friendly and professional; pitch - large and well looked after; facilities - exceptionally clean; setting on the river Thames - beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

User

Just like to say what a wonderful relaxing time we had for a well needed few days break, sad to leave, couldn't fault a thing, so peaceful & quiet and the river to cool off in was fantastic.

We will be back no doubt.

User

Just had another long weekend here getting together with friends from years back! Had a really lovely time with walks by the river, lunch and shopping in Marlow and ice creams etc by Hurley Lock!

User

Just got back from a week at Hurley staying in one of the static caravans. The caravan was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. The site was a great base to visit lots of great places, including London which we did twice. Staff on reception were really helpful and there was plenty of space for the kids to run around and play. There is also a village shop and pub within walking distance. Look forward to going back.

User

Just got back from a 3 night stay in our new to us folding camper. We had a fabulous time! Facilities were fabulous and such friendly helpful people running the place. I loved the fantastically spacious family shower facilities which made life much easier when getting myself and my 2 little ones cleaned and dressed

We will def return in the new year with extended family too and are thrilled to have found such a gem of a site!

User

Just back from this lovely campsite. Super friendly staff, best showers and toilets. Perfect location, we are local but would recommend to anyone. Will be re-visiting before the season ends. Thanks guys

User

Just back from staying at Hurley Riverside Park, absolutely fantastic holiday. Such a beautiful area to camp in. The facilities are so clean and kept very tidy. So quiet and staff so friendly. We definitely recommend to anyone wishing to stay near London. Thanks for a lovely week, we will be back next year!

User

It was the hottest weekend of the year and this place was amazing. The best part for me were the red kites. To see these magnificent birds so close was amazing. The park had a no noise policy so we thought we wouldn't cope without music but it didn't bother us at all. There's a lovely walk on the riverside into Hurley which has 2 lovely pubs. We will definitely be returnin

User

It doesn’t take much effort to do a campsite right from our point of view and this site has it right. Clear signage from the main road, reception clean, staff friendly and very helpful, a map! How fabulous to be given a map that also contains so much information about the park and more so the newbies among us don’t feel stupid asking what is probably stupid questions 😂 great roads inside the park, toilet block lovely and clean and the whole site is very well kept - clean and tidy. We went with our 2 dogs and within 30 yards we were on the banks of the River Thames with great walks and wildlife. Thanks for a great stay and we will certainly be back 😃

User

Had a lovely week at Hurley riverside park. Despite the rain we made the most of our time there going on muddy and wet riverside adventures to both Marlow and Henley. Great location, Great facilities and very helpful and friendly staff

User

Had a fab stay over the bank holiday weekend (Saturday to Wednesday) totally loved the place. Facilities were excellent showers a bit too hot at times which I know when camping is a blessing on the chilly mornings but they were free so Happy Days. Couple of days were a bit muddy and floors dirty but that was more to do with other peoples lack of thought for the next person and running the mop over the floor (that was provided.

). Staff were all really nice and friendly. Didn't have an issue with the planes as some people felt they were at the end of the runway at Heathrow reading the comments it wasn't an issue. The kids all loved swimming in the Thames we capture lots of beautiful pictures. Highly recommended and will definitely be back

User

Great camp site lovely river walk into Hurley. A Massive thankyou to Alan for going out of his way to allow us in late on Friday evening after being delayed in traffic travelling from Cornwall. 2nd visit will be back.

User

Excellent facilities, very clean toilet and shower blocks (there are 3 blocks on the site). Friendly staff, well organised with signage and maps. Beautiful location by the River. Couldn't fault anything about this place. Will definitely be making several return visits.

User

Cheeky October half term week away with our 3 and 5 year old boys. Second time we've camped at this fab park. Great shower and toilet facilities, flat tent pitches and reliable electric hookups. Love the adjacency to the river and the onsite play park is a real bonus. To top it off the staff are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again next year.

User

Booked this site for two nights so we could have a full day at Legoland. This is only our second time camping.

Site is fantastic, well organised, very clean and very well maintained. All facilities are amazing. Shower blocks ( have to add the bench amd storage for whilst you are showering is a really good thought) with kitchen cleaning sinks on the end. We were really pleased with everything but most importantly the staff on arrival at reception are warm and friendly.

Exactly what we needed. Thank you :)

User

Been there this week for 7 days and to be honest the place was great, good facility's,nice staff.and a very good site so glad I book this for us,nice spacious pitches so 10 out of 10 for me.and we shall be booking for next year.

User

After staying for a couple days to visit legoland last October we decided to come for a summer week and we weren't disappointed. The facilities are good and the site is well kept with the wardens and security making sure everyone's stay is enjoyable. Very family friendly site with noise kept to a minimum on the evening making sure everyone has a peaceful yet enjoyable stay. Nearby Hurley village is only a short walk away with a couple of lovely pubs and shop. Further afield is Marlow which is a lovely market town either a short drive or a longer riverside walk. Will visit again great site

User

Absolutely love this site. Good clean showers and toilets and plenty of them. Accommodating staff who are happy to help. Loads to do in the nearby vicinity

User

A very quiet relaxing campsite just up from the weir. The staff are ever so helpful I may have encouraged one to join the BCU only because it’s cheaper to have membership than a single boat licence on the Thames

User

Nice and quiet with bairds like the Redkite frying over you head at times and the River side just a store throw away a nice walk to hurley lock and Beyond 😀

User

Only one shower cubicle per section didn't seem enough to me..... Lots of noise from families not controlling children up to gone midnight.. This wasn't policed, but my partner was not allowed to park his small van by the tent despite having paid extra for another vehicle. We had a great time, but I wasn't overly impressed with the site. Could do with a bigger shop too.

User

Beautiful site in beautiful countryside, a couple of let downs were wardens banging on there caravan or motor home windows just cause my dog had a wee (as if I can control that) a dog's gotta go when a dog's gotta go! Dog friendly site? Also toilet block feel old and decrepit, I felt like I was gonna fall through the floor as felt really soft ( I only weight 11 stone). Also showers had cob Webb's every where and generally just felt dirty, even my daughter who can normally shower anywhere refuse to use the shower block

User

You will be receiving a letter of complaint very shortly due to the rude and intimidating staff. This is the most unwelcoming campsite we have ever been too! Shame as its actually in a fantastic location and site very clean. Note the Showers are very unpredictable.

User

I made an appointment to come down to chose a caravan to buy.

I drove an 8 hour round trip, chose a caravan and paid the required deposit. Only to be told 9 hours later that the caravan wasn’t for sale ?!

User

Wow. What a gorgeous location. Our caravan club held a rally here and we liked it so much we stayed on for 3 more days. We definitely recommend to anyone wishing to stay near London. Thanks for a lovely week, we will be back next year!

Had a lovely week at Hurley riverside park. Despite the rain we made the most of our time there going on muddy and wet riverside adventures to both Marlow and Henley. Great location, Great facilities and very helpful and friendly staff

Been there this week for 7 days and to be honest the place was great, good facility's,nice staff.and a very good site so glad I book this for us,nice spacious pitches so 10 out of 10 for me.and we shall be booking for next year.

I made an appointment to come down to chose a caravan to buy.

I drove an 8 hour round trip, chose a caravan and paid the required deposit. Only to be told 9 hours later that the caravan wasn’t for sale ?!
