Our cafe serves coffee made from award winning beans and a seasonal menu with everything made in house from cakes to soup etc.
Hurst On The Hill Description
Hurst On The Hill is a cafe located on Church Hill in the heart of Milford on Sea, This cafe is a new business venture by Hurst Castle's keeper, Jason Crane to celebrate the castle’s history and its connection with his own family for more than 60 years.
In charge of the kitchen is Head Chef, Jesse Wells, who is passionate about offering modern, fresh, seasonal food to sit in or take out.
Open seven-days-a-week for a leisurely breakfast or to grab something quick if you’re on the go, here at Hurst On The Hill you’ll also be able to enjoy café style coffee, pastries, home made soups and waffles.

We are now using and selling single estate premium Greek olive oil. @zephyrosnatural made in messina on the ionian coast. Very limited amounts are made every year. Made from koroniki olives. They are pressed and stored immediately in oxygen free tanks. Then it goes into a bespoke bottle which protects the oil from sun light. Stopping it souring. And to top that off an aluminium seal and slow pour system to again stop any air degradation.
Masses of passion has gone into this p...roduct. It shows in the taste/flavour. It is the smoothest olive oil we have tasted. With all the food coming into season and more bbqs happening. This is perfect. Salads. Fish. Meat. Even just dipping.

Popped in for a late lunch. WOW. It was awesome. The small selection of food wet our appetites perfectly. Sausage butty, locally sourced from the butcher next door....yummy. bacon for the misses was perfect. Wide variety of drinks hot and cold. What a location in such a pretty little village. It's a must go to place. Staff couldn't gave been better. They were in the close down part of there day but still made our stay very welcome. Will defo be returning in future.

Just perfect. Superb coffee, a "proper" bacon sandwich, and all cakes are gluten free. What's not to like? And prices are good too.
Just had THE most yummy breakfast, four of us, toast, avocado, poached egg and mushrooms, we'll all definitely be back very soon ��
Had a great lunch and loved the food as it was just that little bit more interesting than your usual cafe menu. We also had a vegan and gluten/dairy intolerant in our group but all were well catered for!
