Founded in 1961 by Derek Forster, HUSSO has provided a wide range of activities and help for the local community for over 58 years. Our volunteers run various projects that benefit children, the elderly, the disabled, the environment and much more.

We are recruiting for the Hull North Junior park run volunteers in partnership with HUSSO student led volunteering. We need up to 10 volunteers to oversee the run. It will be every Sunday 8.30am to 9.30am. The meet and greet session is Monday 17th February in meeting room 6 all are welcome and anyone interested can contact Huu-volunteering@hull.ac.uk to sign up or pop to the opportunities fair Wednesday 29th Jan or the volunteering fair on 11th February to find out more.
There is a taster session at the peter pan park run on march 23rd from 8.30am with the trial run at the King George V site (next to university) on Sunday March the 1st from 8.30am with the official launch on the 8th March.
