We have a nationwide network of 9 manufacturing centers from which we provide an innovative, rapid and cost-effective service to build and engineering contractors through the UK, Eire and the rest of the world.

The company is the exclusive UK manufacturer and supplier of Bamtec, concrete slab reinforcement that comes in a roll, a concrete reinforcement solution that reduces site fixing costs by up to 75% and tonnage requirements by up to 35% .

Hy-Ten is also a major distributor of industrial welded mesh, security fencing, gabions and other land reinforcement products. We manufacture structural steelwork and general steel fabrications. In addition, we also stock an extensive range of galvanised lintels. The company is one of the largest stockists in the UK of new and reusable sheet piling.

In 2008 the Hy-Ten Group Ltd celebrated its 50th anniversary.

Hy-Ten have launched a photography competition running from October until February. Here are the Terms and Conditions for entrants:

‘Reinforcement in Construction’ Terms and Conditions

1. To enter this competition you must be a resident of the UK, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, and Republic of Ireland.

2. All entrants must be aged 18 years or over.

3. The competition is open to the Public, but is not open to the employees of Hy-Ten Group Limited, their families or any other people who might be associated with this competition.

4. The competition opens on the 14 October 2013 and closes on 31 May 2014.

5. The winning entry will be the image that is judged to illustrate the theme ‘reinforcement in construction’ most successfully.

6. The winner will receive £500. 00.

7. Entries should be submitted by via email to photography@hy-ten. co. uk. Postal entries cannot be accepted. Hy-Ten can not accept any responsibility for lost entries. Receipts will not be provided for entries and proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

8. Entries should be submitted with the entrants name, address and telephone number

9. Image file size should be no larger than 3MB.

10. Entries must be taken by solely by the entrant. Applicants must own the copyright to the image and the image must not have been published anywhere else or been used in another photography competition.

11. It is the sole responsibility of the Entrant to ensure that the appropriate permission has been obtained by any subject included in the photograph.

12. The Entrant is also responsible for ensuring that the photograph /s submitted do not infringe the copyright of any third party or violates any relevant law in any manner whatsoever.

13. The winner will be chosen with 10 working days after the competition closes on the 31st May 2014. Please note that the decision of the judging panel will be final.

14. The copyright of any image submitted for this competition will remain with the entrants. However, by entering the competition the Entrant grants a worldwide license to Hy-Ten Group Limited to make use any of the images submitted in any of the future publications by Hy-Ten, including on websites and in any promotional material.

15. Any dispute related to this competition shall be settled only under English law under the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

16. A condition of entry to this competition is that the Terms and Conditions stated herein are accepted by the entrants and that the Entrants abide by these Terms and Conditions.

17. The submission of an entry to this competition will be taken to mean that the Entrant accepts the Terms and Conditions stated herein.
