We had a lovely stay at the Hythe Imperial. Room was brand new decorated and everything was clean and comfortable. The grounds and surrounding area, as well as the promenade are especially nice as they're quiet, scenic and well kept.

Food was delicious and good quality, although larger portion sizes would be better. Staff were generally friendly although some were not very attentive. The decor and ambience were good.

We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary at Coast restaurant within the Hythe Imperial Hotel tonight. The food was very good and the staff very pleasant. It has recently undergone a refurbishment which has improved the hotel considerably. Would not hesitate to recommend you others.

I visited for an afternoon tea in the garden room for a hen party. The food, tea and room were lovely, although the potions smaller than most other afternoon teas that I have had for a similar price. The biggest let down of the visit was the service, as we had already booked quite far ahead we were surprised that the service was slow and when we were eventually brought our afternoon tea we were told that they were really busy which they seemed surprised at. The waitress was very nice and did her best to make sure we had everything but we were still very surprised that it took them over an hour to bring out our afternoon tea.

We booked a room for 3 for the night before my Wedding but when we arrived there was only two of everything in the room so had to call for towels, cup, glass etc....the one and only lamp in the room didn't work (needed it for the make-up lady) and they didn't have a replacement. The room was extremely small (superior suite) so we lifted the sofa to make a bit more room for the hairdresser and make-up ladies, what was under that sofa would suggest the place hasn't seen a hoover since the year it opened, disgusting!
At £35.00 for 3 bacon sandwiches, they could at least ensure they use quality ingredients......wouldn't stay again!

Staff were always extremely helpful. Any issues were sorted very quickly. The room was clean tidy and well furnished. Would recommend to anyone wanting a short quiet get away.

Fantastic rooms, views and food. Was a little disappointed with the pool because it opened at 0630 (i think people using the hotel as a base for work may wish for an earlier start) and the water was a bit over chlorinated/cloudy. I should caveat that with i like swimming for training rather than a relaxing potter us and down. If that's your won't then it'll suit you fine!

Had a work thing in the upstairs ballroom (and a few rooms around the building). Everywhere was very clean and well laid out. An excellent atmosphere for a professional meeting
