I-Star Academy Description
i-star Academy prides itself in offering children and young adults the opportunity to participate, enjoy and excel in Rhythmic Gymnastics and Dance.
Rhythmic Gymnastics is an Olympic sport that combines ballet, dance and gymnastics. Routines are performed with Rope, Hoop, Clubs, Ball and Ribbon as individuals and as a group.
The Rhythmic Gymnastics training we offer at I-star Academy is available as recreational classes for fun and fitness with sessions for gymnasts aged 5 years + We also run a competitive programme working towards National and International Level competitions. Gymnasts from I-star Academy have competed in Commonwealth Games, World Championships and European Championships. Our squad programme works through the British Gymnastics levels encouraging each individual gymnast to shine at each stage of their journey with us.
Our exciting dance programme is available from ages 2 years + in Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Street, Jazz and Hip Hop. We offer fun classes which help students develop confidence, skills, creativity and musicality. We also have an exciting Dance Squad (audition based) programme who compete Nationally and Internationally at various competitions inc London, New Jersey (USA) and Disneyland Paris. Members of our Dance Squads have performed on the Semi Finals of Britain Got Talent, BBC Tumble, in the West End, the O2 and in Disneyland Paris. Our Dance Squads currently compete in Contemporary, Lyrical. Hip Hop and Ballet.
