I captured this shot on Easter Sunday and I think you’ll agree, it’s too cute not to share!⁣ Sunday was rainbow day for iamAllColour and also face painting is one of the things we’ve been doing to pass the time 🤷🏼‍♀️. ⁣ Owen wanted to do my face painting but on this occasion I’m glad I decided that wouldn’t be a good idea! Maybe next time 🤔

When I suggested yesterday I might keep on ‘rainbowing’ through the week I was actually thinking a colour each day again Monday to Sunday.⁣ But instead I’ve decided I’m going to share a rainbow post a day this week! 🌈 Wow! #iamAllColour has almost reached 1000 posts and I know we will smash through that number today! Purple isn’t a colour I wear much of, but when I do it a deep berry shade 🍇 both in clothes and jewellery. ⁣ The deep purple enamel is in my top five favourites and it looks fabulous enamelled in a geometric design with part of the copper left exposed! Blue is my favourite colour, to wear and to look at. It’s the colour of the sea and I find it so calming. I love navy, bright and pastel 👖🥿💍🦋🌊 ⁣ ⁣ As an artist I often get asked where I get my inspiration from and the answer is patterns and geometric shapes like on this bathroom floor. Whether consciously or unconsciously, patterns and colours I see give me an idea for a new collection which I will often think about while I am led in bed and sometimes develop the idea further.⁣ ⁣ Anyone else have good ideas while half asleep? 💤 ⁣

What an awesome lot you are for helping to spread the #iamAllColour challenge far and wide! ⁣ We had so many people join in yesterday and I’m looking forward to seeing what you post for today’s prompt of ‘orange’.⁣ In my opinion the most sunniest of colours (apart from yellow) ☀️ ⁣ ⁣ I’m not actually much of an orange clothes wearer, not sure orange and blonde really go together?? But jewellery wise I do wear these orange enamel earrings and matching semi circle necklace quite regularly! Probably because I wear a lot of white, navy and black tops and this colour matches perfectly! 🍊

I’m so glad to have you joining in! 💃🏼⁣ Day 1 of #iamAllColour and the prompt is RED ❤️⁣ ⁣ I’m sure many of you have been making the most of any outdoor space you have at this time of ‘lockdown’! I’m not much of a gardener myself but I’ve been staying at my mums and luckily she is a keen gardener with a large garden full of flowers and nature 🌷🌸🌿🐝 ⁣ Every day I see these tulips and other flowers blooming as they come into flower. It is so beautiful to watc...h and nice to actually have the time to appreciate what we have on our doorstep.⁣ ⁣ Have you found yourself appreciating nature that little bit more lately?
