Our black limestone job is finally over, we should have been finished last week however with the weather last week that delayed us, so here is what we done
Ran a few test spots initially to find out what was actually compatible with the natural stone.
Re-laid some slabs that had worked lose over time.
... Repointed all joints.
Cleaned the areas down with a mixture of soft wash and pressure wash, we also faded alot of rust stains too.
Finished of with a gloss sealer.
This job has been fantastic and it's truly showed some amazing results that we ate capable off.

We are coming to an end of our natural black limestone job!!!! And wow what a job with great results. We have worked closely with suppliers and our customer to clean and seal this, black lime stone has got to be the hardest to clean and seal, its not a case of jump in pressure wash it, the process is much more difficult using alkaline based cleaners, solvents and sealers mixed in with areas to pressure wash to areas for soft wash. The job is now in its final stage and the sealant is curing in these perfect temperatures!!! Tomorrow we will upload our completed work with a description of work.

Today's job, graffiti removal for #Kylebrickwork, these chaps had a re-pointing of a house and felt that the graffiti would have let there professional work down. We at icbritedrives started with a solvent cleaner and soft washed the area, but with the ages of the graffiti had to pressure wash the area down removing all traces of graffiti and old paint.

Been a great day at out job! The full works to this imprinted driveway, and we at I.C Britedrives are very proud with the end results.
This drive had no maintenance at all since first being laid 10 years ago, today we gave our customer that drive she first had laid 10 years ago, but what shocks me is the lack of knowledge provided by suppliers when it comes to looking after these drives.
So here goes, why seal re mask expansion joints and repair cracks??????
... First a failed expansion joint allows moss, weeds to grow outwards, it also allows moisture to gain entry under the seal creating white marks and algae to grow under the seal.
Cracks? these are bad on any driveway, cracks appearing indicates movement, now mostly this is from the years’ worth of settling, and this is an easy fix if treated early. However if left this will deteriorate into a stage where it will become a huge job to fix…….being a concreter by trade, I know that this is mega bucks to correct and in sometimes lift that section out and start again with new foundations.
