Allan couldn't have been more helpful, excellent friendly service.
Although mine was a relatively small purchase, he took the time to answer all my questions.

Well where do I start....
I first met Allan a while back on my very first ever forum meeting for a JL Audio subwoofer event. This was a real turning point for me personally and for my long standing AV addiction.

I've always liked quality gear and considered what I had at the time to be very good indeed, not realizing how far along the AV world had moved. That first day introduced me to my future purchase of the JL Audio Fathom f112. From that day on I've never really looked back. With Allan's help and fantastic advice along the way I proceeded to pretty much replace most of my old set up. That came in the form of a full set of MK S150MKII / S150T speakers, an Oppo 103eu blue ray player and a JVC X900 projector....!!
His two demo rooms are pure class and need to be seen and heard.....you won't regret it I promise.
For me my AV hobby has been taken to such a higher level than I thought was possible before I went to Ideal AV.

As for Allan....from day one I got on with him. He goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Many many visits and events followed and I've enjoyed every one. Always willing to give advice freely and with no sales pressure at all. Just guides you down the right path with expert knowledge of all the products he sells which is what you want from a great AV installer.
To be fair....he only deals in quality gear so they kinda speak for themselves.
Over many return visits and with the odd drink or three I've got to know Allan pretty well now as we've nattered and put the world to rights......!!!
I'm really happy to call Allan and his lovely wife Val my friends.....good people are good people....it's that simple.
So yeah....if your in the market for something new AV......pop along to Allan at Ideal AV.....you'll be going back for sure.....!!

Can only echo whats written in previous posts. If you are looking for anything AV, Allan at Ideal av is the guy to talk to.

No hard sell, he doesn't say things just to get a sale, if he believes a product isn't right for you he will tell you.

His demo room is fantastic, when buying my projector I basically spent all day in there just watching films on various projectors and at the end he wasn't pushing for a sale.
