We're all guilty of trying to squeeze every last frame we can out of a roll of film. For this week's #ilfordphoto #fridayfavourites we asked you to share those #firstshot frames that were extras. (You know the one's we mean where only half the frame is properly exposed) As usual, you didn't disappoint. . https://www.ilfordphoto.com/friday-favour ites-firstshot/ . This image Barnaby Nutt

Where would photographers be without Ilford?

User

What can I say about a company with such commitment to black and white film.

User

The best photographic materials out there! Thank you!

User

The best film ever made, another British product to be proud of.

User

Love to work with the Panf 50

User

Keeping traditional photography alive, Ilford remains one of the best manufacturers in existence.

User

Just love Ilford product and been doing that since 1975. Ilford 3200 Delta is one of my go too film ;)

User

Just getting back into film and love XP2. It's so easy to develop scan and print now too when there's no darkroom about. The fact that Leica film cameras are now affordable makes this an even more exciting prospect. XP2+M3=:-)

User

It took me nearly 10 years to rediscover traditional process and realise something important had been lost in the way we produce imagery. It was the first roll of black and white I picked up when I started photography and I still have a fridge full today. Ilford products are used throughout every aspect of my process- film, chemicals and paper. Long live ilford

User

Ilford HP5 changed my life. Before discovering it, I wasn't aware you could have such a contrasty yet fast film. Besides you can push and pull it hard with good results.

User

I shoot black and white 35mm. I develop it at home and make silver gelatin prints in my darkroom. Without Ilford's great products, service and information, my passion would be close to impossible. Long may you continue!

User

I have just started using Ilford for my prints. The photographs are produced with a great quality to them and the presentation with the box, the CD and the negatives are first class. This is a great company who clearly work at the highest level.

User

Great film, love shooting with xp2 super 400 in a fully manual camera

User

Great film and healthy financials. This means we will enjoy film for years to come.

User

Fall in love with black and white again! What better than using ilford's variety of monochrome stocks. What I love the most is that a photographer has an option from ISO 50 onwards.

User

Delta 400, and PanF 50! Some of my all time favorites! Can't beat the value of hp5+ as well!

User

Currently my favorite black and white film - it's an essential part of my travels!

User

Best in black and white. huge range in light speed. Also nice multigrade paper.

User

I am an user of Ilford Papers since years... I used the multigrade ones (argentic) and the Cibachrome. Now I have made some test with inkjet paper : they are very good.
