What a fantastic place! Masterclass of cocktails and magic last night in a great venue with such a cool vibe.

Only wish I lived nearer so I could go again.

We booked a magician through illusions to perform at our wedding.

Just wanted to big up criss Smith the magician we were sent.

His prior arrangements and communication was spot on.

His friendly relaxed attituded really made everyone comfortable and enjoy themselves.

His magic skills are out of this world.

It wasn't as expensive as you might think its defiantly worth it to add that magical touch to your big day. �

The bar staff were fantastic. From the minute we walked in, they were accommodating and friendly. Despite the fact that we were clearly drunk, they smiled and were understanding. All three bartenders, Mollie, Gabby and Emma, were wonderful. Even though Mollie was overly flirtatious, they made our night even more fun that it was. Will return, for sure, but only when all three of them are working. If they're not, we will take out business and considerable wealth elsewhere. Peace out.

Recommended to me by a friend when I needed to kill some time on otherwise not very promising Wednesday evening stuck in Bristol for a few hours. So glad I did, Open mic for magacians, walked in on my own greeted by friendly bar staff and Magicians alike. Thoroughy enjoyed it, great fun and value entertainment, will definetely return and recommend to friends despite the lack of Guinness ;)

Loved watching my talented son last night at open Mic night. Something he has always wanted to do. Very proud moment.

I arranged a hen do for last night here for cocktail making and magic tricks. All 12 of us had an amazing time. Highly recommend. :)

Absolutely brilliant!!!! Fantastic staff, drinks are a little over priced but definitely worth every penny. Something completely different and they really do stand out from the crowd in Bristol. Should really look at expanding! 👍🏻 xx

Absolutely brilliant cocktail making and wizardry masterclass for a hen party of 20. Went above and beyond to ensure that our party had a great time. Would highly recommend the bar and the masterclass. Brilliant night, great staff and an amazing place

We went to illusions because we were given a flyer for a cocktail offer by a promoter so went straight to the bar. Had never been there before and had no idea what to expect. We arrived to be told the deal wasn't on anymore but the staff kindly let us have the 2 for £10 cocktails offer. Unfortunately the cocktails were not very nice and a woo woo was served with a half a shot of archers. When I queried this I was told a half shot was the usual amount and the menu was wrong. I've never been served a half shot measure before so found this very unusual. Our time at the venue was made by an absolutely amazing magician who was brilliant and put our night back on track. Probably wouldn't consider going back again due to the issues with our cocktails.

Great bar, amazing magicians but it was a shame that there were limited spirits for the cocktails one of the bar guys needs to tone down his attitude.

Terrible experience wouldn’t return if you paid me... arrived 5 mins late for a booking to an empty bar with an empty magic bar, as we all made a joke about the magic table. Sat in prebooked booth waiting for over an hour, when we asked 3 times what was going on was told Won’t be long magicians on a break, after waiting 1hour 10 mins the magician arrived as we were leaving told him not to bother as we’re leaving waiting that long was a piss take he advised us that he was the only magician on and wasn’t aware of our booking. My husband and friend complained to bar manager who was arrogant and argued the toss and clearly lied � wouldn’t recommended I would avoid also the drinks weren’t as should be, the smell of mould is over powering toilet had mouldy growing up wall and no loo roll disgusting!!! Extremely disappointing
