Went here yesterday with my sister and the hospitality of this spa was great. Enjoyed our treatments- I had a hot stone massage, my sister had a facial. Both beauticians were friendly and warm. The spa area was clean and well maintained and hosted a sauna, a steam room, foot spa, jacuzzi and pool. We used a Living Social voucher which offered spa access and afternoon tea for ┬Ż29- I paid extra for the treatments so as spas go, this was a spa day on a budget...though the experience they offered was good quality for the money we paid. On arrival we were given hot drinks, towel, slippers and robes. Afternoon tea was substantial and consisted of finger sandwiches, scone with jam & cream and a selection of cakes. There was plenty of water available and spaces to relax. I canŌĆÖt wait to be able to go again and would not hesitate to recommend to hardworking people who want a reasonably priced place to relax.

My husband and I took advantage of the July spa offer which included a 30 minute treatment and 4 hour use of the spa facilities. We both chose the sensory massage. This was amazing! Thankyou Harriet and Victoria. 30 mins just wasnŌĆÖt enough. All the staff were friendly and welcoming.It was a great experience excellent value for money we will definitely return

Lovely staff and fab treatments. I had a lavender and mint body scrub and a facial. Both really relaxing and the products smelt amazing! You can purchase a Morrocan hair mask, body scrub, foot salts and clay mask for ┬Ż10 which is a lovely add on. Jacuzzi, pool, sauna and steam room plus an crushed ice area to cool yourself down. The staff went out of their way to help. I would definitely go back! Highly recommend ­¤æŹ­¤Å╗

Just got back from my hen night and wow you guys were amazing, 1st we had our own chill out room for the day, with tea and coffee and topped up when asked, you even let us bring in our nibbles how fab and talked over allergies for treatments and were honest about what we should go for. Then the spa gym and treatments again wow. Then we got our room keys, all rooms together and so lovely, nothing was to much. Tea well wow a member of our party has allergies you went above and beyond to cater for her needs and we all loved the food both tea and brekki. Just wow thank you so much highly recommend I must say prior communication I was worried but rest you pulled out all the stops thank you and the few who bought afternoon tea loved them aswell x

Have had the best day at Imagine Knaresborough. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, loved that we had a choice of treatments even though the spa company we booked via said we had to choose up front. Food was really lovely and the facilities were great. Excellent exfoliate and massage with Ashton, we will be back!!

Had such a lovely time at the spa as an early birthday treat. Booked the champagne package and had a fabulous time. We were well looked after from when we arrived to when we checked out. We both felt so relaxed following our treatments and our afternoon in the spa. Thankyou, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a special spa break.

spent a lovely day at Imagine Spa ! Received a nice warm welcome from the staff and enjoyed a 'frothy coffee' while we filled in our paperwork. Had the use of all the facilities which included pool, hot tub, sauna, steam-room, foot spa and relaxation room. We enjoyed 2 really nice treatments - a facial and massage which left us feeling totally relaxed and chilled ! We chose the afternoon tea from the menu which had plenty of tasty food to choose from and we weren't disappointed ! Only negatives were that I felt that some areas looked a little 'tired' and there was a problem with the water pressure in the showers which the Spa warned us about - they are trying to address the problem. All-in all a really lovely way to spend a day ! We will be back !

Purchased a two person half day spa with afternoon tea package from Travelzoo at an excellent price. Took advantage of a discount on a treatment as part of the package. Reception staff were friendly on the phone and on arrival. Facilities were good but, jacuzzi was out of use, being repaired initially. Was up and running within a few hours. Water temp in the pool and Jacuzzi was a bit on the cool side and the hot water wasn't working in the experience shower. I liked the steam room and relaxation area. The treatments were very good and my partner was very impressed with Hannah. We had the deep tissue massage which was expertly carried out by both therapists. Hannah gave some excellent complementary advice to promote continued benefits from the massage. The only developmental feedback we would give is the cleanliness of some areas of the spa. The pool area ceiling had peeling paint and the skylights were very dirty and had stained the surrounds. The changing room cubicle did not have a proper handle on it and the slats between the seats was covered in dust and hair. The toilet cubicle skirting board was rotten. There was a towel rolled up in a vent in the seating area. Some investment in the fixtures and fittings is needed as well as better cleaning. The treatment rooms were clean and well presented. Overall this is a great little spa and all the staff were excellent. Some owner capital investment is needed and it would be top notch. We would gladly return.

Been here a few times now and have recommended to others who have also enjoyed it. It's a lovely place and the lava stone massages are amazing, very relaxing as though you're on a beach somewhere! Just what you need to take you away from it all. Lovely staff and afternoon tea. Only thing I will say is that sometimes the pool area can be quite crowded so can be difficult to chill out there, but its not too much of a worry a there's a lovely relaxation room to take advantage of. Will continue to visit and enjoy :)

Worst kerb appeal of any spa I've been to. Tired pool and steam room / sauna. Pool was cold. Jacuzzi had no power. Changing rooms not very clean. Poor method of having a pedicure (lift your foot into their lap??). But treatment staff were lovely and lava stone massage excellent. Avoid the afternoon tea.

went here today for a birthday treat, was greeted by friendly staff & escorted into a quiet area, treatments chosen & consultation cards given. we were then shown the changing rooms & I have to say I was very shocked at the state of them, the whole ceiling is black with mould, the door frame to the toilet is all rotten with peeling paint, the lockers are either too high that you have to climb on the bench to use the hanger inside or virtually climb into the bottom ones to retrieve your belongings, we then went into the pool area, the windows are double glazed & have clearly blown as there was so much condensation on them & black spots of mould, the ceiling had black & green mould all over & water was dripping from the ceiling, there are extractor fans but these were not on. The Jacuzzi was so hot that it was almost unbearable to sit in it, some of the members said it had been like that for a few days & they laughed & said you could poach an egg in here. The shower was freezing cold & had been like that for a few days apparently. The treatment rooms looked cosy & were ambient, the girl giving the treatment asked lots of questions prior to commencing which was good, she did a nice relaxing facial. We had lunch here which mainly consists of sandwiches & paninis but it was nice, complimentary juice & water available in the relaxation lounge. I would not go here again & hope they can manage to get on top of the mould issues, I'm very concerned about the heat & mould & any potential health issues that could cause.

Had a pleasant afternoon, with my best friend, however the door into the pool area really needs a close slowly mechanism as it bangs very loudly each time anyone comes through it, no way you could relax with that banging every 5 mins! So easy to prevent. My treatment (raindrops) was quite nice, but may I suggest the oil is warm if you are going to drop it on the person as again not very relaxing, quite made me flinch, the staff however were fabulous. Pool also very cold.

Spa is grubby and needs a refurb, ice sink not working and relaxation lounge had a massive cobweb, could def do with a good clean! AVOID the afternoon tea! Such a rip off! ┬Ż14.95 for 4 little quarters of sandwich, 2 tiny cakes and a shop bought scone (no jam)! Even had to ask for tea! Everything seemed too much for the staff! Had my nails done and the therapist didn't speak once, very awkward! Wouldn't recommend!
