We're going to make the most of our downtime over the next few weeks to keep you up to date with our latest hire stock, as well as news of some shows we've been working on. We've recently invested in the Blackmagic range of broadcast equipment, including the ATEM Television Studio HD and an array of signal processing, distribution and converters. These offer a robust and reliable solution for converting HDMI, DVI and SDI signals for our range of LED Screens, Projectors and TVs. It's also a great cost-effective solution for multi-camera streaming and video mixing.

We were at Manchester Victoria Warehouse, O2 Academy Glasgow and First Direct Arena providing lighting design for Embrace less than two weeks ago. Amazing to think how much has changed since then! Very eager to get back into the swing of things.

Our office hours remain as normal, so don’t hesitate to give us a call or drop us an email to discuss any ideas or requirements you may have.
In an effort to effectively implement social distancing, we have cut down to only essential staff in the wareho...use for the time being, with all of our office-based team working from home. Although this is a very challenging time for all of us in the events industry, we’ve got a robust plan in place to continue our operations and we’re here to support any of our colleagues, freelancers and clients. It’s very important for all of us to stick together and help out where we can.
We are following the latest updates from the government and PHE to ensure we are keeping in line with current protocols and will continue to update our teams as and when required. Hopefully we’ll all come out the other side stronger and raring to get back to what we do best!

We've recently added x36 Claypaky Mythos 2 to our hire inventory. They were straight out onto a run of shows over the last couple of months and are already a client favourite, and a great addition to our diverse fixture inventory. Get in touch for pricing and hire enquiries.

Had a great time working at Inner City Electronic last weekend. We provided full production management across nine venues in Leeds, requiring a team of engineers, stage managers and crew. We also supplied lighting, audio, video and rigging packages. The main stage at The Refectory was headlined by Peggy Gou with a special full live performance from Orbital.

Had our Robe Pointes out recently for some TLC. Here they are during a soak test after relamping the fixtures.

Shots of Cirque Du Soul's party in Leeds last week showing off our lighting and LED wall nicely. We provided x10 Robe 150s, x2 SGM XC-5s and 2x2 Cell Molefays, the Robe 150s distributed between three rooms. We also supplied Avolites and Chamsys consoles. Our LED wall was 12 panels of 3.9mm Alphapix using a Novastar processor and Resolume software.

We supply a range of equipment for Leeds Beckett SU and it's great to be able to regularly work with them on top-class gigs. We supplied lighting and crew for Blossoms last week, and will be doing the same for The Courteeners tonight.

We've been at O2 Academy Leeds and O2 Academy Newcastle providing some ongoing screen maintenance. We supply LED screens to the Academy Music Group venues and O2 Telefonica on a long-term rental, which requires regular onsite maintenance. This is a given part of our service for long-term equipment hires and includes repairs, PAT/electrical testing and LOLER testing for the rigging solutions.
Long-term rental can be a very affordable and convenient solution for venues, keeping up to date with the latest kit and removing the overheads and logistics of servicing and repairs. Here’s a photo of our electrical engineer Steve doing some pixel repairs onsite.
