Despite to the postponement of the hockey season we are pleased to announce that we will still be able to bring you LIVE HOCKEY - sort of.
Due to start tomorrow, but with a rescheduling having taken place the Cyclones NHL 20 Challenge Cup PS4 Bracket will now begin this evening at 6pm with a match between Josh Dixon and Gary Whitehead.
The game will be available live and free on the clubs Facebook page, with games taking place throughout the coming weeks!

COVID-19 UPDATE:
All club activities are suspended until 30/04/2020 at the earliest following the temporary closure of the National Ice Centre

CLUB COVID-19 TRAINING UPDATE
We have been in constant communication with all parties concerned regarding club activities and we can confirm that for the time being club training sessions will continue to run on Saturday evenings!
However - under guidance from the EIHA we must stress that sessions are only for players who are registered with the club, as insurance will not cover travelling players, in an attempt to localise contact between players - we will be strictly enforc...ing this rule with no exceptions! Please do not turn up to training sessions unless you are a Cyclones member as we will have to turn you away, this includes all ‘trial’ period players!
We must also stress that sessions will be spectator free until further notice is given.
Attached is the National Ice Centres current policy and guidelines that we expect all players to follow.

All games cancelled until further notice beyond the 31/05/2020
Also, the Bethany’s Legacy Challenge Cup has been cancelled for the rest of the season... we therefore, as the only team left unbeaten with multiple games played - and highest point percentage, would like to declare ourselves the 2020 Cup champions and look forward to defending the trophy in 2021 👀
Seriously we would like to thank all the tournament organisers and other teams and will be itching to get back on the... ice as soon as possible! Thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout the season and please make sure you follow the governments advice so that you and others stay safe and healthy

COVID-19 UPDATE:
As a club are continuing to follow EIHA advice, and at present there is no effect on our practices or games
However we would please ask that for the time being ‘spectators’ refrain from attending where possible, particularly those in higher risk categories. Whilst we cannot enforce this directly as a club, please follow the advice of facilities, the government and health organisations
... We will continue to advise as things develop!

Good luck to former Cyclone Ollie Ellis #9 playing for the Nottingham Lions in Solihull this evening!!

Cyclones battle back to take the regulation win in Cambridge. After going 3-0 down early in the 1st, then 5-2 down after a mini fightback in the second the Cyclones turned it on in the third period to take all 3 points in the BLIHCC Conference 2 match against RAF Vulcans.
Both teams went back and forth the for the entire 60 minutes with chances galore at both ends, and despite a couple of flashpoints that you'd expect in such a fast and closely matched game, both teams left the ice in high spirits and look forward to meeting again in the return fixture in Nottingham soon.
A key point to note is huge congratulations to Rihards Erins in his debut season for the club achieving his first goal in only his second game. The Latvian has been a crucial addition to the roster!
