In The Company Of Canines Description
Canine company was born on the belief that all canines need company . . too many dogs spend long days alone whilst their owners have to work .
People are realizing it is wrong to leave their dogs alone for several hours a day. . . . . . .
Dogs are pack animals and benefit from a safe fun and stimulating life with opportunity to socialize with other dogs as opposed to being home alone.
Dogs also need walking DAILY and benefit from a good routine. . . . . . .
We provide a structured day for your dog , where all his needs will be met . . . so he can be a happy , fulfilled and balanced dog. . . . . .
Emma's existing pack of dogs help new dogs feel welcome and their calm energy is the basis for our balanced pack here at canine company . . . dogs learn good social skills from older existing pack members . . . . .
Dogs energy is burnt off by pack walks and activities . . . . . . we don't throw a group of dogs together and 'hope for the best'
All dogs are supervised under the watchful eye of dog behavior experts . . . . .
Your Dogs safety is paramount . . . . . . we don't take risks with your dog . . . . Dogs can be separated into sub groups if necessary . . . . . . depending on size, age , energy levels etc . . . . . . .
We can also offer help with behavioral issues and we can help dogs build their confidence and become better socialized. . .
Think of us more as a dog phychology centre . . . . . a positive place for dogs to spend time with other dogs. . . . . . . . your dog will leave feeling a sense of well being from being mentally and physically challenged and calm from spending time in a calm environment with fellow canines. . . .
We offer daycare for £16 per day which includesa pack walk and activities taylored to your individual dogs needs.

we also offer half days(4 hours)which includes one pack walk and activities for £12

We offer places to dogs with behavioral problems for an increased price depending on the amount of one to one a dog will need. . . . please ask for details. . . .
Home boarding is £20 per night , which includes daycare activities and a place in our home to sleep with his canine companions. . . . . .

Emma is currently studying The Dog behaviour Practitioner Diploma at the British College of Canine Studies. . . . .
We have had over twenty years experience with looking after, training, rescuing and rehabilitating dogs. . . . . . . .
Rescuing a extremely nervous aggressive Doberman 20 yrs ago sparked an interest in dog physiology and dog training in an effort to help her , Emma has rehabilited a number of rescue dogs with severe mental problems and has four rescue dog's of her own.
Fifteen years ago Emma trained with Prince Rainier of Monaco's dog trainer for a number of weeks and worked personally with his dog's. . . .
Emma is qualified to teach kennel club good citizen classes and has worked as lead trainer at leeds dog training centre, leeds, uk. . . teaching their classes. . . . .
Emma Hutchison Has worked as a professional artist /illustrator specializing in Dogs. She has a BA( hons)degree in illustration . .
Canine company offers companionship for your best friend and he or she will become part of our pack. . . . . . . . .
We are fully insured and licenced by Harrogate Borough Council.
Originally based in France we have recently re-located to the UK we have opened our doors for daycare and home boarding this spring. . . . .

Thanks to Emma, Toby had a lovely "holiday" with you and came back looking fit and healthy. He is now much more sociable with other dogs and much happier in the car. Tesne has just started with Emma having had a horrible experience at another daycare...bitten ear and surgery to fix it which resulted in her becoming very nervous around dogs. Just one week at Emma's has returned her to her previous happy self,playing with her new pals and willingly getting out of the car when we arrive!! Which means I can get on with my work without worrying, which is wonderful.
So glad I found Canine Company and Emma, Ettie and Tadhg are so comfortable with Emma and her family, to have peace of mind when you are away is priceless, and to see regular updates on facebook is great, can recommend Canine Company to any dog owner 100%.
Our dog Milo stayed with Emma for 6 weeks while we were in temporary accommodation. He has had the time of his life and has had some much needed training along the way! I am not sure he will want to leave when it's time to come home! I can't even put into words how wonderful Emma and all the dogs were with our little guy! I would not leave Milo with anyone else in the future. I can most certainly highly recommend Canine Company!
My dogs have stayed in Emma's care on many occasions and I have always found her to have a real interest in the wellbeing of all the animals in her care. Her knowledge, patience and expertise in the handling of dogs is truly amazing. I would never leave my rescue dog Max with anyone else as his behaviour can sometimes be challenging to say the least! but I know that he will have the best of care with Canine company and trust Emma implicitly.
My dog, George, adores Emma and hangs out of the car window trying to get to her house every time we go past! He's stayed with her a couple of times when I've had to go away and it's a relief to know he's in such good hands. Emma has even sent me updates and photos so I know how he's getting on. Brilliant service!
My 2 girls stayed with Emma & the gang whilst we were away on holiday for a week
It was fab that Emma put pictures up so we could see what our girls were getting up to, she also kept us informed on how they were doing
When we went to collect them both they didn't want to come home with us, they'd had such a fantastic time
Our younger goldie Lexie goes once a week to "doggy day care" & has done since she was a few months old. It has been great to be able to socialise her with all the different dogs that go there & it gives our older goldie, Bailey a rest from Lexie's youthful exuberance
Max and Chester stayed at Canine Company with Emma and her family while I was on holiday for a week. They had previously been in kennels for my holidays, but never again they had a ball!!i received updates via videos and photos which was very reassuring. I cannot recommend Emma enough. She loves all the dogs and treats them all like her own. Max and Chester will be back soon Emma thank you. Xxxx
Just been on holiday. Emma was looking after our precious boys (spen & gidley) we have been able to go away and relax, not needing to worry, safe in the knowledge that our boys are safe, happy and very well looked after by Emma. Thank you Emma. We certainly recommend your services.
I’ve been sending my 2 Westie siblings to a Emma and Neil to daycare for a few years now and they absolutely love going. They fly out of the car and pull me in each time they go. One of them was really shy and nervous around people and dogs but she’s gained lots of confidence since she started at Canine Company! Would highly recommend.
I went to visit Canine Company today. It's wonderful to see so many happy dogs playing together. The dogs are very well looked after by Emma and Neil, who clearly adore dogs. I would highly recommend them if you are wanting expert care for your dog in a lovely setting �
I can't recommend the Canine Company enough. My two dogs -Ruby and Betty - love their visits and it's such a relief to know they are being loved and cared for. Emma and Neil are just fabulous. If I could give it 6 stars, I would!
Emma looked after my puppy whilst we were on holiday recently. I can honestly say that every aspect of what Emma does is outstanding. We enjoyed the photos and facebook updates and had to think hard about who had the best holiday, Paddy or us! I would recommend Canine Company without hesitation.

Emma did a picture of our dog Markha for my husband's 40th birthday, what can I say but I think she is one of the best animal portrait painters .. the picture of Markha is beautiful, she has really caught her likeness and character. Really recommend her.
Cookie has just spent 8 days with Emma and her family and couldn't have been better cared for. She is a terrier and is very protective of her family. Even to the point of chasing swallows in the garden to protect her pack. Cookie has come back so much calmer - less barking and whilst she is still protecting her family she seems so much more relaxed about it.

Can't say how pleased we are to have found Emma and Canine Company - we've had a great holiday and so have Dottie and Suzzy. Emma makes them feel really at home and sends pictures - it's a superb set up for dogs and their owners.
