Northumbria Centre for Innovation, Regional Transformation and Entrepreneurship (iNCITE) is an interdisciplinary group of researchers interested in a range of topics relating to innovation, entrepreneurship and regional development. We aim to undertake research and knowledge exchange activities regionally, nationally and internationally in partnership with government, business and other organisations, focusing on the following themes: • The governance of innovation, science and knowledge • Universities, commercialisation and regional engagement • Entrepreneurship and SME development, rural enterprise• Regional governance and leadership, and the process of regional development • Creativity and place including creative and cultural industries, and tourism strategies• Digital infrastructures and innovation• Entrepreneurial leadership • Public service innovation and partnerships
