About Indaba Counselling
Perhaps you are unsure exactly what counselling is? I will work safely with you to explore all manner of personal challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, loss, & relationship issues to find solutions unique & empowering to you.
Indaba Counselling Description
I am a person-centred counsellor offering short-term & open-ended therapy in a safe, confidential setting in Nottingham. Our first session is a FREE 25mins assessment to give you space to decide if you feel comfortable that I am the right counsellor for you. In our first session we will talk through your expectation of counselling, and I will answer any questions you may have, especially if you have not experienced therapy before.
You may be affected by a specific trauma or a general sense of anxiety, anger or depression. Perhaps you are struggling in a relationship, be that with a partner or another family member, or you may wish to build your confidence and self-esteem. There is no problem that is too small because if it matters to you then it is a valid issue for counselling. I will listen respectfully and compassionately and support you as you develop your self-awareness and find insights and solutions that are unique and empowering for you. Without judging you or offering advice I will seek to support you as you try to make sense of your feelings.
I also am experienced in online counselling via FaceTime or Skype, and additionally telephone counselling, and in this way geography does not have to be a barrier to you accessing therapy. You may have all sorts of questions about how long sessions last for, how frequently you might have it, confidentiality etc. Please have a look at my website, www. indabacounselling. co. uk as I have tried to answer these and anything not addressed just send me a message to clarify.

Very funny/sad/fascinating to read client thoughts in therapy, me being the counsellor in the room. And I have to say, I always value when someone is able to challenge or ask me things like this.
Agreed!
