Tomorrow Infinita Productions will be hosting our third project in our CURATING segment. We aim to create a window to show independent films that aren’t signed for distribution. We are supporting filmmakers from everywhere who want to show their films in London where you can find communities from all countries of the world looking to watch creative films. I hope you enjoy our selection and if you like what you are watching we would appreciate your help to spread the word!

University of Reading, Infinita Productions and DMovies will be holding this special screening of documentary Pitanga on November 14th | Tuesday @ The Institute of Light, IOL Cinema, which will be followed by Q&A with actor Antônio Pitanga and co-director Camila Pitanga.
This documentary investigates the aesthetic, political and existential trajectory of emblematic Black Brazilian actor Antônio Pitanga, who is now 78 years old. He career spans over five decades, and he has wo...rked with iconic Brazilian filmmakers Glauber Rocha, Cacá Diegues and Walter Lima Jr. He was a prominent figurehead and outspoken activist during the Brazilian dictatorship, a period of unrest in Brazilian cinema.
Pitanga deep dives into the world of Antônio and the history of Brazil. The documentary was directed by his daughter Camila Pitanga, one of widely recognised faces in Brazilian television and cinema right now. The film is also a poem, and a tender ode to fatherhood.

Infinita Productions and DMovies will be holding this exclusive international release of Beyond the Breasts on October 26th | Thursday @ The Institute of Light, IOL Cinema, which will be followed by a Skype Q&A with the film Director Adriano Big.
Beyond the Breasts examines femininity, body and gender in our contemporary society. It delves into a wealth of urgent topics such as harassment and violence towards women, feminism, SlutWalk, objectification of women, body fascism, ...transgenderism, mastectomy, cosmetic surgery and breastfeeding. The message tolerance and respect is empowering and conspicuous.
As the title suggests, this Brazilian film goes beyond the female body. It also takes a look at abortion, legalisation of marijuana, queer theory, media representation, religion and much much more. Join us for the movie, a debate and stay abreast with the female world of nowadays.
