COACHING: helping someone move on from where they are now to where they want to be, much quicker than if they are working on their own. Coaching believes that the client has all the resources within them. The client is the person who has everything that they need to be able to work out how to move forwards. A coach doesn’t impart any information, a coach doesn’t give advice, doesn’t give any solutions but instead helps the client work towards their own goals and finding a solution that best suits them. Coaching is also about future opportunities and not past failures. All questions coaches ask will be future focused and concentrated on future possibilities. Coaching is now found in all walks of life – in business, in schools, in education.

How many coaching sessions will I need?
Most clients have between 6 and 12 sessions depending on how they are progressing. This will be agreed at your first session and can be reviewed at your final session.

How long are the coaching sessions?
The coaching sessions last between 30mins and 1 hour. This will be agreed with you at your introductory session.


Will my information be kept confidential?
All information is kept private and confidential between coach and client and will not be discussed with anyone else. Permission will be asked in writing for any information used with anyone else or for publicity purposes.

Who is responsible for taking action of the goals?
You as the client are responsible for ensuring you follow and fulfill the goals you set for yourself.

What are the coaches’ notes about?
The coach takes notes at each session to keep track of what is going on. The client is responsible for writing down their goals and notes where needed.
