The London Women’s Clinic in prestigious Harley Street provides pioneering fertility treatment to help patients have a healthy baby.
The clinic needed air conditioning, heating and air purification for two state-of-the-art egg collection and implantation laboratories.
Stringent ISO 7 cleanroom standards had to be met to correctly control the environment.
... In addition, limited space and low ceiling height made installation potentially difficult in this striking, listed building.
Discover how we solved all of the above and more in our latest case study: https://ingenious-air.com/meeting-cleanro om-standards-in-t…/

Winter in August? NHS staff can't cope with the influx of patients due to the heatwave and have had to open emergency wards, usually reserved for the winter.
As temperatures continue to rise the NHS is starting to feel the pressure as the number of patients increase. The majority of these patients are suffering from dehydration and/or heatstroke.
It's not just the patients suffering from the heatwave but the workforce too. A combination of the heatwave, longer shifts, impract...ical uniforms, inefficient air conditioning and poor ventilation, are making it extremely difficult for nurses to work.
With heatwaves anticipated to heighten over the years, is there an immediate solution to staying cool, comfortable and ultimately safe for both patients and the workforce?

In the City and other parts of the country, many forms of transportation are being affected. The majority of train lines are facing severe delays as well as road users queuing fo...r hours on motorways.
With heatwaves expected to worsen in years to come, is there an immediate solution to staying cool, comfortable and ultimately safe?

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has backed a new study which will test the effectiveness of air quality control.
The study will be conducted over the course of 4 years, monitoring the exposure of air pollution to all the children involved. It will also use a spirometer to measure the size and the function of their lungs.
The tests will take place at two schools; one in Luton and one in central London. The two schools will consist of two groups, each with 1,500+ primary schoo...l students.
Experts have said that although low emission zones will undoubtedly improve air quality, they are not sure whether they benefit health.
There is no disputing this is a positive step in the right direction long-term, but what about short-term?

With over 40 towns and cities in the UK exceeding air pollution limits, is your home at risk?
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has estimated that 30 areas have dangerous levels of fine-particle air pollution. They also found that another 17 were at the limit.
Fine-particle air pollution can cause respiratory infections, stroke, heart disease and lung cancer, by penetrating deep into the lungs and cardiovascular system.
... The UK government has vowed to reduce the level of air pollution over the country with a £3.5 billion plan, but will it be enough?

Concerned parents are taking matters into their own hands to ensure their children have the chance to breathe safely.
They are raising money to buy purifiers, which can cost up £5,000 per classroom. This seems a lot of money for a 'luxury' but just how much of a 'luxury' is it?
According to a study released last week by the World Health Organisation (WHO), particles found inside some of London schools regularly exceed the standards. These particles can damage children's lungs... as well as cause heart problems.
With scary statistics like this, can parents afford not to?

Indoor air quality and occupant health now has to form part of HVAC design.
Are you ready for one of the biggest shake-ups in HVAC history?
Hywel Davies, Technical Director at CIBSE, recently reviewed the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) revision. He emphasised that there is "a significant expansion of the scope of the Directive", referring to the "order to optimise health, indoor air quality and comfort levels".
... The current 2010 Directive is set to modernise and streamline requirements. One of those requirements is to “address the issues of healthy indoor climate conditions”.
Going forward, EPBD will redefine the HVAC industry for the better. It will change the way HVAC systems are designed, ultimately benefiting the client.
So where does this leave you? Here at Ingenious Air, we have been working towards these changes for over 10 years. We already have the solution that directly solves all EPBD expectations and more.

Over 5 million people suffer from asthma in the UK, including a high percentage of children. Symptoms are triggered by dust mites, pet dander, poll...en, cigarette smoke and other pollutants.
Experts believe a lack of basic checks has led to hundreds of deaths in the UK, with 66% of cases being preventable. But, are the NHS solely responsible for not providing better frontline asthma services?
There isn't currently a cure for asthma but is there a solution?

The government are being sued for not the first, not the second, but the third time, over illegal levels of toxic air. They are urged to act quickly as air pollution continues to take a heavy toll on people’s health.
Previous plans have already been deemed illegal and now, lawyers are saying the latest plans still fall short. These failed attempts have already cost over £370,000 of the taxpayers’ money.
Further fears have been sparked as a barrister said pollution will not fa...ll below legal limits until 2028 in London and 2021 in most other urban areas.
Will the government's latest plans finally get a handle on the situation?
