About Inghams Butchers
After learning his trade from the age of 15, David Ingham bought his Butchers shop back in 1973 aged 26 years old in the countryside village of Foulridge.

After learning his trade from the age of 15, David Ingham Bought his first Butchers shop back in 1973 aged 26 years old in the Lancashire countryside village of Foulridge. Back then then the shop was run by David his wife Shirley and his late Father Wallace Ingham, two children shortly followed and his Son David joined the team back in 1992, steadily since the business has grown from strength to strength, now comprising of 7 staff
Rather than be tied to one supplier, we have our own Buyer who travels to markets both locally and further afield to source only the best British meat, this ensures quality week in week out. All our meat has full traceability.
All of our Sausages and Burgers are made on the premises using only the best ingredients, three years ago we decided to start producing our own homemade pies, which has been a great success.
Our Shop is built on traditional Butchery, all staff are trained in hands on boning and cutting methods. Our beef is aged so that it improves the flavour of meat by allowing the natural enzymes in the meat to break down the tissue through dry ageing.
Situated in the east Lancashire village of Foulridge close to the Yorkshire border, Inghams Butchers are a friendly family run firm that have been established for over 40 years, with a strong local customer base. We aim to please customers, If you have any queries, donโt hesitate to contact us, we will only be too happy to help.

New! Chinatown Pork Stir fry. Made with slices of tender pork medallions and a delicious Chinese style sauce.
We are now taking orders for our Christmas Pork Pies. We have our small pork pies, 1lb, 2lb, 3lb pork pies and the extra large 7lb rectangular gala pie. Please order early to avoid disappointment.
Orders are now being taken for our Free range whole bronze turkeys. These turkey breeds are slow maturing to produce superior tasting meat with a fantastic flavour. They reach full maturity so they remain succulent and tender and moist when roasted. To ensure your desired weight please could customers order by the end of November as soon after we have to finalise our weights with the farm.
We now have our fresh venison from Scotland, also delicious venison sausages. ๐ด
