The Edgware Ward Panel (EWP) are the community consultative group for the Edgware Safer Neighbourhoods Police Team. We set them local targets to work towards and work towards making Edgware a safer place to live in.

Good Afternoon Folks....The Edgware Residents Virtual Ward Panel Survey is still open for you..... It shows that Burglaries are the biggest concern to residents and our Ward PCSO Diane will be doing extra crime prevention events regarding burglaries.

... I know It’s been very hot, and I do walk quite a lot. In the last few days, I have come across at least 6 houses with the front door open and no one in sight. Even if you are going out for a few moments keep the door closed until you are ready to go. If you are lucky enough to have a porch also keep that door locked as it makes your home extra secure.
At the moment I have received 156 messages regarding issues. The survey is confidential so we need road names or postcodes to help. We have had a few messages regarding brothels.... We need locations. We have had a few messages regarding drug dealing and / or suspicious cars.....We need locations. We have had messages regarding Bakery Path, and although we patrol this on all our shifts, we will do extra patrols as there is still an issue. We have had messages regarding Farm Road / Brook Avenue alley and park, and although we patrol, we will do extra patrols as there is still an issue.

The Met’s Road and Transport Policing Command are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Barnet today, Wednesday, 8 August.... A 25-year-old man died when his motorcycle collided with a van on Falloden Way, NW11.
Evening all, i am getting a super amount of messages as to why the Police helicopter is circling Broadfields Avenue...I can't reply to every message however if i can get any info to give out i will update you all. UPDATE: Police were looking for some people who had run away from a car, however after a chase they have all been found now.

20/07/2018 Theft of MV in PAVILION WAY, EDGWARE.. Victim has parked his vehicle and registered off road 8 months ago, then left the vehicle parked outside his sons home address. Victim noticed that the vehicle was taken 4 days ago.

23/07/2018 Theft from MV in BROADWALK CENTRE, EDGWARE.. Vehicle index plate was stolen.
29/06/2018 Theft from MV in NORWICH WALK, EDGWARE.. The victim left the vehicle parked at venue, when unknown person/s smashed the passenger side window and removed the ipad.
24/07/2018 Theft from MV in BROADWALK CENTRE, EDGWARE.. Entry gained into VIW's vehicle by person(s) unknown damaging the driver side door lock . Tools taken.
25/07/2018 Att. Burglary in BLUNDELL ROAD, EDGWARE.. Tried to break into their address as their locks have been tampered with. The front door has also been tampered with and there are scratches on the front door, and the seal around the door has been pulled away.

27/07/2018 Burglary in ELMGATE GARDENS, EDGWARE.. Unknown suspects have broken in through a rear window and then ransacked the property stealing the safe.

28/07/2018 Att.Burglary in KNIGHTSWOOD CLOSE, EDGWARE.. Two suspects have approached the rear door to a residential dwelling on the ground floor and attempted to gain entry prior to being disturbed by neighbour upstairs and fleeing.
